Your work is very nice, one can tell you have a connection with your subjects. It should be beautiful when done. Lots of effort in the build. -

As everyone has said, it's a beautiful model. -
I really like your flying car, lots of imagination ! Great use of parts.

This is an older build. It's a Jimmy Flintstone car I purchased at an NNL East show when Jimmy sold them with some white metal wheels, front end and exhaust. I attempted to portray a weathered salt flats car. My first attempt at weathering. It has no engine, I made an interior but it is pretty hidden by the chopped top.

Looks very nice. Ed's products are well thought out and add a lot to a model. I have always been pleased with what I have purchased. -
Junior Fueler--More Of These (Darn) Injectors?! 02/01/19
echo replied to Straightliner59's topic in WIP: Drag Racing Models
Your jr. fueler is coming out very nicely, all your hand made parts make it unique and realistic. The jr. fueler class is overlooked in the modeling world. Your car is an inspiration, looking forward to seeing it move forward.- 152 replies

1936 Ford 5W Coupe - James Hetfield´s "Iron Fist"
echo replied to Koellefornia Kid's topic in Model Cars
Nice build, especially like the wheels, if they aren't right it can spoil the whole look. You nailed it. -
The service from Speed City is prompt. His resin is top notch and subject matter is great for '50 - '60 era drag subjects. I only have good things to say about my dealings with Scott at Speed City Resin

All I can do is repeat what has been said, it's a beautiful model, nice to see something different with the '30 Ford. I have always thought the Vicky was an attractive car. Great job on the conversion !

I can only agree about the outstanding quality of the parts. Service is very good too ! -
Really a beautiful build, your Fords are really exceptional. It was nice that Lindberg included an up top , all convertible model kits should include one.

Where do you find YOUR inspiration ?
echo replied to Greg Myers's topic in General Automotive Talk (Trucks and Cars)
The H.A.M.B. site. Building kits that I wish were out when I was a kid in the middle of the last century. Members of the model car club I belong to., it's interesting to see everyone's version of the same idea for a build. The problem is finishing. -
This HAS to be THE crapiest box art EVER!!!!
echo replied to Dann Tier's topic in General Automotive Talk (Trucks and Cars)
There are so many more bad box art examples than the one that started this discussion. Most experienced modelers will look past the box and see what their vision of the kit can be made out of it, however to a new modeler I would think the people running the model companies would make an attempt to entice them with attractive box art. That said a creative artists rendering costs more than an afterthought, which much box art seems to represent. Generally Round 2 retro box art and Moebius generally seems to have attractive box art. -
A very nice build, a lot of thought and good building skills went into your build

I just wanted to compliment Scott at Speed City Resin for outstanding service, I placed an order on June 19 and was astounded when the mailman delivered my complete order on June 23, yes in the same year. We all have had horror stories of poor service or of being ripped off so I thought it only right to let everyone know about good service when it is received. I have ordered from Speed City in the past and have always had good service, not to mention that his products are unique and well cast. A treasure trove for the vintage drag race modeler. Ed

I was saddened to hear of his passing, I only knew him through photos of his work in the magazines which was impressive.
