  1. I wonder why we couldn't get the Marlin, Buick GS, Probe, and F-150 in kit form. I'd get at least 1 of each of those.
  2. Thanks David, and yes, he's been excited throughout the build process. And you make a great point. Thanks again.
  3. This started as a Vic's Resin '69 Cadillac Coupe Deville. The goal was to make a replica of the owner's 1:1 The resin casting was pretty rough. Everything had to be massaged to get it to fit correctly. The paint is not exact. I used Tamiya Mica Red, which is metallic. The folded top is from 3dscaleparts. I printed the 26" Dub G.O.A.T rims from the King3d file. Side mirror is from LowriderScaleParts. The visors and headrests are printed from the parts file, not the parts box. The grill I 3d "scratch built". Headlight covers are also scratch built from aluminum. Dash gauges are by BestModelCarParts. Bumpers are sprayed with Revell chrome. Not perfect but the owner is pleased. Thanks Check out the Reel on Instagram https://www.instagram.com/reel/DJzogofTk56/?igsh=MXR4M2V3aWFycGlvbw== Thanks
  4. Wow. This is extraordinary craftsmanship.
  5. That's one of the things that annoy me on IG, where people post pictures of kits and parts, but rarely a completed build. As far as the "my wallet is safe" comments are concerned, it's a matter of builders expressing their lack of interest in regurgitated kits we've all seen for decades and may have built once, twice, or more. Some of us long for new, different subject matters, hence the rise in 3d prints. Rather than asking these folks to keep their comments to themselves, more of those who feel this way should be speaking louder, then perhaps the kit manufacturers would listen to their customer base. Yeah, I know, wishful thinking. Just my $2 (2 cents adjusted for inflation).
  6. I recently had very similar results from a can of Testors.
  7. This is coming along beautifully. Care to share any tips on how your body printed so smooth?
  8. Wow. That's so cool. You're taking very good care of it too.
  9. A lot of cool rides out there, but the cleanest by far is that bicycle.
  10. This was com8ng along really nicely. Any updates?
  11. That came out very nice. Did the body need much sanding?
  12. This promo is on ebay today (no affiliation). It looks like it has the side molding your looking for.
  13. Gotcha. Good luck. It would be a cool build. I'm getting BlackboxSTL and/or Iceman Collections vibes from it. Maybe check with them.
  14. Does anyone know what's going on with Detail Junkees? The website isn't working, and an email didn't go through. My last order in early April came through with no problem as always, but now I can't reach him. I hope David and his business are OK.
  15. Looks very cool so far. What's the spotlight for?
