  1. I cut the chassis down to size. Again, sure it's not exactly like the 1:1 but it works. I'm waiting for a couple of sets of wheels & tires I ordered from Scenes Unlimited before I touch the suspension. If they're to large for the stock set up I'll lift the suspension. Or I may just leave it stock and use the Silverado wheels & tires.
  2. I'm calling the interior done. I'm sure it's not to spec but close enough. Had to notch the wheel humps a bit to get the rear seat to sit right. Also can't find the decal sheet so I'll be printing a copy of the instrument cluster.
  3. Nice job! Love the street version too. That's a fun kit to build.
  4. Nice project. I agree, those Camaro inspired lights aren't working on the Vette. 4 rounds are traditional and definitely the way to go. Even the 2012 Vette tails are good. I think the F-40's rear end is so flat and not as sexy as the new Corvette, but that's me.
  5. Looks good in orange. Cool build! & dude looks happy too.
  6. That's one mean looking Mustang. Paint job came out really nice.
  7. Ha! The wheels are coated in a special super molecular space age polymer that repels dirt & mud. Or, the "mud" is actually a display base made with a mixture of dirt and Future floor wax. I didn't want to get the wheels dirty before I gave it to the owner. After some thought though (funny what can happen when you think) I realized I could have rolled the wheels through real mud then cleaned them off after the pics. Oh well, maybe next time. Thanks for the compliments guys!
  8. Not bad at all. Cool color combo.Hopefully you keep building.
  9. Shortening the bed & keeping the trim, you're a brave and skilled man Sean. Should look sweet when it's done. I'm watching.
  10. Ha! Funny story Tom. I guess the facts were changed to protect the innocent. Haven't worked on the Tahoe in a while. Not A.D.D. this time, had to finish the H2 and my laptop crashed. Now that the Hummer's done and I was able to remember by login password I'll get back to finishing the Tahoe project and post my progress. Stay tuned.
  11. This is the Revell California Wheels Hummer H2. Lifted suspension, painted matte black. Let me know what you think...
  12. Looks good! If I did a build in 2 hours it would never see the light of day. Nice job.
  13. Starting on the interior. Not going to put too much detail into it since I plan on tinting the windows. I just cut a section out of the tub and chopped the rear seat down a bit.
  14. Interesting project David. My hat's off to you for cutting up a diecast. Looks good so far. I'm watching.
  15. HMMMMM!?!?! Those might work for another project, The HummaDually. PM on it's way.
  16. Cool stuff! Thanks for the leads. I'll check out the Cheif first. Thanks guys! Micro Nitro's got some really nice stuff but kind of pricey.
  17. Has anyone purchased anything from Ma's Resin recently? I sent Alan an email a few days ago and haven't heard back from him. Or can anyone suggest a good source for off-road wheels/tires? Thanks Jay
