  1. Scale hobbiest has them as well for @ $65
  2. Terry, you must build atleast one in those colors.........
  3. thanks Carl, it looks better in person truthfully. the color is testors Daytona yellow lacquer with a bunch of clear on it.
  4. I couldn't get the body square for love or money, so it's going to be on the shelf just a tad crooked but it is near completion.
  5. so, I have had this project on and off the bench for what seems like forever, but we all know how model building A.D.D. is........oooh....squirrel.......lol. anyway, here is my progression over who knows how much time,
  6. Had a box full of stuff when I got home today. Lonestar Prostar US wrecker Wester Star Constelation Peerless log trailer And a couple of car kits. Good mail day, lol.
  7. i like it! nice colors too.
  8. thanks, i figured it was along shot, but thought i would ask. and it looks as though the MCG option is no longer available either.
  9. as both are hobbies, so be it. eventually the ambition will return, but for now, relax and let the 'want' to do it return. if you do want to get motivated sooner, then just 'putter', i find i get more done whithout inentions of accomplishing anything sometimes, i sit down and just mess with stuff and before i know it, i have something built [be it an engine or interior or whatever].
  10. Looking good Clayton, you're a mad man, lol. This is gonna be a smoking rig when done!
  11. JT.....WOW man, just WOW! Great looking trailer all the way around, awesome job!
  12. Al, mine arrived today as well! along with a 59 caddy and a 40 ford and several tire parts packs.
  13. following. look forward to seeing it build, and getting mine in the mail
  14. Beautiful build and conversion. You said you cast some of the parts, have any left overs? A buddy of mine, his father in law has a 69 hard top, I have been half heartedly looking for conversion parts to make a replica of his car. Any help woud be appreciated, thanks.
  15. This is by far THE coolest thing I have seen in a long time! Well done!
  16. Nice score! I got an amt KW W925 in the mail the other day, and my buddy JimB picked me up anothe DM600 while he was out and about the other day.
  17. Some times I will try to find primer or a flat paint the same general color of the actual color I am going to use on the frame, so if you do miss a spot/crevis, it doesn't show as bad. It seems to me that the large cans of flat paint ( like from Walmart/lowes/home depot) have a lot of pigment in them, and are very forgiving if you really lay it on.
  18. Thanks all. I must say, I am glad it is finally finished, lol. Anthony, I did not seal the alclad with anything, and used gloves when I installed the tanks to keep finger prints/oils off of them.
  19. guess I can ad this latest completion
  20. the whole project is now complete
  21. well, it's been a 6 1/2 month project between the 6 detailed cars, the trailer and the truck. with a lot of positive comments and encouragement from you guys, and the help of Dennis [decals] and JimB [PE wipers], it is finally done I hope you all like it as much as I do, I am pleased with the results,
