  1. thanks guys, didn't think i would ever get around to finishing it, lol. originally, i thought the rear window trim was going to look horrid, but once it was on, i was glad it was a separate part. it's a good sized molding in 1:1, and the kit molding looks way better than i had expected it to.

  15. A little something else came to me as I read this topic, I am sure it's a US Marine thing, identify, adapt, overcome! It's a free site for us all to enjoy, work thru the growing pains. It's all good!
  16. Ok, I gotta throw this out here for conversation sake. A few of you fellas are not happy with the changes here, I understand that. Some have indicated they think people will leave due to changes, because people don't like change. what did all you guys do when hand writing letters fell victim to e-mail? Heck, you all have computers, and ya dove head first into them, and we all know what a learning curve that was. I say roll with it, embrace it, and we can revisit this topic in a couple years when we say how much we hate that new update, lol.
  17. it is a bit different to say the least, i suppose we will all get used to it eventually.......
  18. Looks great, they do build up nicely.
  19. Haha....that is soooo not what I meant, hahaha.....
  20. Haha, I am soo looking forward to getting it fired up and relaxing in it. I have been 'balls out' since end of march, need some down time to relax. Wonder if I can get a floating tray for it so I can get some model building time in.....
  21. Well, after talking to a contractor buddy of mine, and him looking at what I have, he told me to get an electrician as my service was at its limit. So, tomorrow morning I have a company coming in to update my electrical service and wire up the hot tub. Being an auto tech for almost 30 years, I am pretty well versed in automotive electrical, but this project is beyond my comfort level, so I will leave it to the professionals. With luck, by Wednesday I will be soaking my old bones. Will update this with some pics later on. Thanks to all that replied and pm'd me.
  22. Ya, lol, he's all that and a bag of chips. What a goof.....
  23. I would like to get a few more as well, like I need anymore kits at all, lol.
  24. Got two each of the moebius ford pick ups and the del rio wagon kit in the mail today.
  25. Right around the 500 mark, my buy to build ratio is out of hand......
