Thank you, I’ve had a lot of free time lately.... got the tank painted, trailer frame in color, and painted the fenders. I’m thinking this whole project will be wrapped up by Monday.

As in the 1:1 world, they are only original once ...., I’m not much on buying built ups, but I think I’d clean that up and keep it as a bit of a time capsule myself.

Glad to see this one back on the bench -
Looking good! I’ve built 3 of these rigs, absolutely love them. I only used your roof cut out idea on the first one though. They have such a great interior, it’s a shame you can’t see much of it once the cab is assembled.

Lol, I make some small stuff from time to time. Been making progress , got a few more bits on the truck, and made some front fenders for the tanker .

I have to echo what everyone else has said, what a fantastic build! -

Here is my slice of heaven, 90% of my kit stash is in another room, but the space under my bench is full of kits. It’s a small room, but I have a lot crammed in it....scratch building stuff is hanging on the back of the door and most of my paint cans are in the bins under the paint booth, jar paint is on a rack that’s originally intended to be a thread spool rack. Due to the current situation, I’ve been spending a lot of time in there.

Looks like it’s ready for business, great looking bumper -
Holy warped trailer parts Batman! Frame rails were ( still are) pretty bad, rear fenders are complete junk, but I shall prevail......, I hope.... I put all the cross members in the frame, did some twisting and swearing and now it sort of conforms to the tank body, so I’m hoping with some help from tape it’ll settle when I glue it to the tank body. In the pics, that should be flat on the bench....., ya, not so much. I also made new fenders, I think I’ll make matching ones for the front as well. will probably have more to show tomorrow..........
