  1. Oh boy! That color is gorgeous on that car! Great looking chebby Jim.
  2. Thanks everyone, it has been a very productive few weeks. Today I finished up the car hauler for the Pete,
  3. Thanks all, finished off the trailer today,
  4. Thanks for the info. I usually build the cabs, paint them, then paint the inside with brush paint for my interior color, but this kit is a bit of a different animal to do that way, atleast I thought. Might not be as difficult as I was thinking.
  5. Thanks guys, and yes, the chassis is kind of hard to paint, all odd angles and shapes, not to mention the length . I finished it up this morning,
  6. Another beauty in the works, look forward to seeing this come together .
  7. This will be a striking looking combo when you’re done, I like it.
  8. Good looking pair. Thinking of starting one of these as well, but at a glance , I can’t figure out how to stuff the interior into it if I build the cab first ....., any thoughts?
  9. What a great garage scene, lots of things to catch the eye. Fantastic job.
  10. Nothing like a quick build to get the juices flowing, lol. was worth the wait, looks great Jim
  11. That is sharp! Gorgeous black paint and that red interior ........, love it!
  12. Great looking build, love the trailer and bobcat
  13. I can’t believe I didn’t reply to this, what a fantastic build, holy smokes man, you outdid yourself on this one! Absolutely perfect!
  14. Thanks guys? I have the trailer about 1/2 done , I swapped on some moebius wheels to upgrade the look a little. And then naturally I had to see what it was gonna look like, haha. Still a ways to go, but I think it’s going to look pretty good.
  15. Thanks guys . Needed a trailer for this, so it’s getting a revell car hauler . It’s going to be a matching red with silver ramps. Started on it last night and got it in some color today.
  16. Well, due to the pandemic, I have been out of work for 8 weeks now. The weather has mostly been crummy, so not much can be done outside. As a result , I’ve been spending most of my time at the bench, good thing is, I’ve been very productive. After seeing the other post about virus builds, I thought I’d post up mine, and update it as I go. Hope you like the selection. p.s. the lowboy was built to replace the one I swiped from my orange 352 awhile back for the Pete snapper I made into a day cab.
  17. Ya, I’m on a roll alright, lol. been out of work for 8 weeks due to the virus, and the local weather has been pretty crummy for the most part. So, I’ve been spending a large portion of my ‘work day’ at the model bench. If it weren’t for building models, I think I’d be off my rocker by now.
  18. Thank you for the kind words everyone, much appreciated.
  19. Great looking rig! I like your treatment on the bumper and grill too.
  20. Great looking pair! You’ve inspired me, I may take a crack at building one of these kits.
  21. That’s pretty cool, I like it
  22. Another one in the done column. Great kit, everything fit nice, easy build. Colors are testors diamond dust silver, revving red and the frame is mythical maroon. I did use aftermarket mud flaps, service lines and deck plate. Thanks for looking.
  23. Calling this one done ( other than a trailer). Thanks for following along, and thanks for all the great comments.
  24. That is looking sharp, great job on that cab color scheme, love it.
