  1. Started fooling around with this, lot of hacking and whacking so far.......
  2. I too am sorry for your loss, she will always be in your heart, and as time passes you will be able to smile whenever you think of her. Will be thinking of you.
  3. Cool project. You’re still building, just in 1:1?
  4. Another beauty from your bench in your signature color, I like the way you did the bumper and fairings, fantastic build.
  5. It’s all relative, I’m sure that 1/2 mil was like $20 to the guy that bought that thing.
  6. Glad to see you decided to hang around, this place is very therapeutic.
  7. Looks great ! amazingly enough a few years ago I did that kit in that same color , haha.
  8. I would like to echo what has already been said. You’re one of the main cogs in the machine here. Keep on keepin on, we are here for you .
  9. They’ve already found something, how to turn a large fortune into a small fortune....
  10. Hit hobby lobby today, got 3 cans of aluminum plate buffing metalizer and another 68 chevelle kit.
  11. I have failed many a rust bucket for inspection over the years, only to see the vehicle return at some point later on with a sticker on it from some other shop and none of the offending issues repaired. I’ve also been involved in some disputes over failing a vehicle for something , the customer getting very mad , and the state people coming in along with the car in question so ‘we’ could all go over what was failed and why. Sadly, even though I was vindicated in these challenges , the cars still had new stickers on them, and I always asked the state people ‘if I’m correct, the fault is still there, AND it has a fresh sticker on it, are you going to go after the other shop for an improper inspection?’ Never did get straight answers on that question ....
  12. Call them what you will, but a generous amount of decal solution and patience will get the stripes on and looking good.
  13. Another vote for scale hobbyist, ship fast and pretty good prices.
  14. Revell saw the threads here and said the heck with it, lol.
  15. Now get it dirty.... I kid, great looking space you have there, I don’t know what I’d do with that kind of space.
  16. Looking good Jim , love the paint schemes on both of the rigs .
  17. Buddy of mine got one, no chrome, central NY area.
  18. The AMT kit is a train wreck, I have the revell version also, but have not attempted that one yet.......
  19. You guys do realize how big this thing is...., right? Talk about loss of shelf space, lol.
  20. As far as sharing ideas, as far as it relates to magazine content, I’d look at the most often asked questions on here and try to incorporate those into the magazine content. Along with being able to cull many build pics from here as well. just talking out loud......
  21. So sad to hear this, you’ll be in my thoughts.
  22. So sorry to hear this, thoughts and prayers coming your way.
  23. I vote for keep it all, just tuck it away. There is more to this hobby than actually building, sometimes just taking a minute to yourself to riffle thru a kit box, or sneak a peak at your stash keeps the pilot light lit. I normally don’t build from April to early October , but I check in here often to see what’s going on, and wander in my build room on occasion just to look around and ponder what I’ll build in the winter when I have the time to build. as Red Green says, hang in there , we’re all in this together .
