  1. Nice work. I love the subtle touches like the chains.
  2. Very nice. Good attention to detail!
  3. Thanks guys. I see that the skill level is up there based on what's been posted for the 2014 posts. I would just be in it for the fun but I'll push my skills. Got a couple of ideas spinning up there.
  4. I've never participated but this sounds like too much fun to pass up!!
  5. Sweet!!
  6. Great ideas guys. I recently came across one of those foil food pans. The thickness looks just right for a wide range of uses including race car interior tin. I haven't used it yet but I couldn't pass it up as it was free!
  7. Very nice build. Great detail. This is the first time I've seen someone simulate the coolant in the reservoir. Sweet.
  8. Thanks for sharing such a nice build. I have that kit in the drawer so the door and trunk tips are appreciated.
  9. Lots of potential there!!
  10. I've learned that each one is different. I built a vintage Cobra with Pegasus wheels and had to grind the hub down on the wheels as well as cut the axle back and they just fit inside the wheel wells. I also just build a Nissan where the wheels fitted like they were made for it. I'd say when the time comes you will need to post pics showing what you are trying to do and ask for specific help. Use the search and tutorials as well. G'luck!!
  11. Welcome Tony, you'll learn a lot here.
  12. I like the orange as well. Well detailed engine bay, too.

    Very nice.
  14. Very nice Tyrone. Get the Chassisworks catalog in pdf if you're looking into the front-mounted twin turbo. They've got some nice up-close photos of gear-drive systems.
  15. Nice build!! The wheels look like part of the two piece set that had a spoked second piece that bolted to the center hub. I had a set back in the day.
  16. I use primer with all body painting but not for small pieces.
  17. VGC Resins has it for Chevy.
  18. I'm liking it!!
  19. Impressive!
  20. Glad to see you got it separated without damage. Should be a fun rebuild.
  21. Wow, thanks guys. I wasn't familiar with how it all worked together. Ace Garageguy, thanks for the lesson on how it all works. The pump is part of the kit so I'm just plumbing it in. I've seen a couple of these where guys just ignored the pump like it didn't exist and I didn't want to do that.
  22. Nice work.
  23. Truly impressive.
