  1. I'm doing a similar setup which shows using a "Pair of Precision Turbo 94mm Pro Mods" on a Mike Moran hemi. My converter program has that as 3.7 inches, so the 3.5" shouldn't be out of scale. Those are the ones I'm planning on going with.
  2. Looks like painting is one of your strong traits. Nice work.
  3. Looks like you've got a lot of work ahead. Do you plan on using those wheels? I don't see how. Good luck.
  4. Welcome Andy, lots of skilled members as I've found (I'm not one of them) so you should be able to pick up a lot.
  5. Nice work. Some folks like the contrasted frame vs. components but I like the single color (other than the exhaust and suspension components as you have).
  6. Nice start. You planning on going rust bucket or clean? I was planning on something similar as a spare time build. I have a Chevelle body that's in need of an idea, and with all of the sales going on I might pick up some armament on the cheap!
  7. Too sweet!!
  8. Way to go, I like the idea.
  9. Fitting. Make it sweet.
  10. I like the headlight idea, like back in the day. By the way Jason, where did you get your turbos? I've been looking at the ones carried by Ted's but don't really want to pay that price unless I have to.
  11. Here is one config bringing them in. Don't ask me where the rad goes.
  12. Looks great. Downright vicious. How will you be dealing with the orange peel?
  13. Great work. I like the top job.
  14. Good job with the exhaust. How will the filters fit? Will you use ducting? Keep up the good work. I have a twin turbo project In the planning stages.
  15. Nice!!! Beautiful paint job.
  16. Thanks, I've got a Cobra kit on hold for a future project. Love your avatar.
  17. Hey, that's the right concept car, and just like I informed Shardik its converted from a photo (snaptouch.com). Thanks for the info on the chassis.
  18. Thanks for the kudos but no they aren't functional, but doable. The drawing is not actually a drawing but a converted photo.(snaptouch.com). I wanted to buy RBM but didn't want to spend that much on this build since its kind of experimental to test my skills.
  19. Couldn't find a suitable chassis so I started trying to build my own. Took a lot of Evergreen because of multiple do-overs but the result appears to be worth it. I also put coil-overs together. They came out better than I expected.
  20. This was my first model but I wanted to share it to get comments. Used a concept Camaro for parts. You'll notice the wheels & tires, hood hump, center console, & mirrors. Paints not as good as I'd like but I hope to improve on it for my next build. Sorry about the poor pics.
  21. I'd love to see a resin kit available! My friend customizes 1:1 Lincoln hot rods.
  22. Thanks guys, great ideas/suggestions. I'll widen my search.
  23. Hey guys, I want to make a grille for my project but I'd like to build one from scratch as I'm approaching my budget limit for this project and don't want to buy too much else. I've looked at screen but think the holes are too big. Any ideas? The attached photo shows where I'm going. I will make cutouts for fog lights and open up the space between them in the piece I put in there. Thanks in advance.
  24. Brings back memories. A couple of cats I grew up with were big on bugs. Porsche engines and all that. Yours if right up there.
