Rad!! I say go for it, but back off some of the detail like working rack & pinion or you'll never finish. Think about using FI for the intake, kind of like the Viper.
Great paint! I'll be watching for tips as I've got a Cobra on the shelf for a future build. By the way, your airplane building jargon slipped in. Airframe?
I'm doing a similar setup which shows using a "Pair of Precision Turbo 94mm Pro Mods" on a Mike Moran hemi. My converter program has that as 3.7 inches, so the 3.5" shouldn't be out of scale. Those are the ones I'm planning on going with.
Nice work. Some folks like the contrasted frame vs. components but I like the single color (other than the exhaust and suspension components as you have).
Nice start. You planning on going rust bucket or clean? I was planning on something similar as a spare time build. I have a Chevelle body that's in need of an idea, and with all of the sales going on I might pick up some armament on the cheap!
I like the headlight idea, like back in the day. By the way Jason, where did you get your turbos? I've been looking at the ones carried by Ted's but don't really want to pay that price unless I have to.
Thanks for the kudos but no they aren't functional, but doable. The drawing is not actually a drawing but a converted photo.(snaptouch.com). I wanted to buy RBM but didn't want to spend that much on this build since its kind of experimental to test my skills.
Couldn't find a suitable chassis so I started trying to build my own. Took a lot of Evergreen because of multiple do-overs but the result appears to be worth it. I also put coil-overs together. They came out better than I expected.
