  1. Or The slow and pissed off
  2. I'd love to see an eighties caprice done but without readily available police car decals I don't think they would sell well enough.
  3. So what happened to the scania 6x4 italeri announced last year? was it cancelled?
  4. The new site sucks for sure, I miss the old site.
  5. Some good news in regards to the '70 f-100 kits; the molds for the body parts have been polished out so no more grainy sand blasted texture. Thank you Moebius!
  6. That is just absolutely hideous looking.
  7. Aligning with Roush is a step backwards in my opinion.
  8. the modern tool amt '70 camaro z28 has a nicely done 350 in it.
  9. It looks like it was based of the Italeri DAF 2800. http://italeri.com/scheda.asp?idProdotto=2064&idCategoria=7&idSottocategoria=34
  10. and the metalizer can be buffed till you get to a sheen you're happy with
  11. I'd like to see some Jeep pickups too, like the Comanche (sp?) from the early eighties.
  12. I would also add '81-92 Dodge Ram pickups and Ramcharger to that list, that body style has never been done in plastic. I would do 2x4, 4x4, short bed, long bed and maybe even a club cab and dually. I would include lots of accessories for the 4x4 kits too.
  13. I keep a log book for my nascar builds, I find it helps to keep track of what I need for donor kits. I keep them categorized according to make and year group(i.e. '95-99 chevy). I write down the year, car#, sponsor and then i have columns that I check off when i have the donor kit i need. And then when the build is done i highlight the entry in yellow so that way i know not to count that one anymore. As for my street cars and trucks i don't keep any records of any sort, its a hobby for me so therefore its irrelevant to me as to how much i paid for it, how long it took to complete it and so on.
  14. The MPC GMC Fall Guy truck has the bed you're looking for, its based off of the same tooling as the Chevies. The Fall Guy truck is being reissued in February 2016 as just a regular '84 GMC truck.
  15. A quick question for Dave;I was just thinking would it be feasible to include an extra grille/bumper in the upcoming Catalina kits to replace the ones in the Ventura kits?
  16. Cool to see that I'm not the only reefer mechanic on this board! I know I've left several tools inside them too. The one that pisses me off the most is the matco led inspection light I left in some guys tractor after working on his tripac.
  17. I'm pretty sure that pic was from the big warehouse fire here in Chicago a few winters ago.
  18. I agree on the storage box lines, get rid of them. I also hope they provide the right bumper/grille combination(preferably the fall guy grille).
  19. I used to be the same way, I wouldn't miss out on watching a race. Now I rarely make an effort to watch a race these days but I still enjoy building nascar models.
  20. With it being under the MPC label i wonder if its going to be the fall guy truck?
  21. I wish they would make a display case for big rigs.
  22. Monogram's Chevy S10 and GMC Syclone kits are pretty good.
  23. I have a can of testor's sublime green thats doing that to me but not as bad as yours.
  24. Not many hobby shops left anymore, but Berwyn's toys and trains is ok, Walts hobbies in Joliet is pretty good. Theres also Lagrange hobbies in Lagrange and Leisure Hours hobbies also in Joliet.
  25. I"ll guarantee you the bidder thats doing the nickel and dime bidding is the seller, I see it happening all the time. And if the seller ends up winning his own item all he has to do is cancel the auction, that way the item can be relisted and the faux buyer is off the hook.
