  1. Thanks Carl! There's some change up for the "entertainment room" in the back. Well as some of you might've figured from the get go......that big couch aint going to work! I had my blinders on early on but reality hit. It was too tall and took up way too much room in the back. . I even trimmed out the bottom of it so the wheel tub would fit up inside the bottom of the couch and it was still too tall. I broke out the OOB front bench seat and trimmed it out in the area at the center of the couch where the transmission hump cut out was and have it primed so far. I also tossed the coffee table from the equation as the TV was sitting up too high and would've hit the roof. I replaced that with a section of clear plastic from Evergreen and painted it black on the back side to give it that "black glass" look. I'm currently working on the L angled two legs for the front of the table. I believe this....is more doable. I still have to carpet the side of the R/H wheel tub but I'm makin' some progress anyhow.
  2. I'll be tuning in to that!!! That car body looks great!!!
  3. Great planning Kevin. There's nothin' like experience to draw from.
  4. You need to copyright this thing Steve.......really. The kit manufacturers could learn a thing or two from this. I, for one, would really like to see this one in kit form!
  5. Hahaahahahaha!!! Wooo Hoooo! Mayan that looks the part Rich!!! Nice touch!!
  6. Thanks Greg! Now...............if I can ever get some more bench time...........
  7. Looking good so far and looking forward to more Steve!
  8. Lookin' good so far Ron. Those sure some purdy pulleys on the front of that motor.

Dang Luis!!!! That looks fantastic! I really like the weathering on this build!!!!! Superbly done.
  11. I'm doing the same thing you are as I haven't been able to get on here at all at work until today. Once I'm home I don't usually stop till about 9:30 or so and at that point I'm just ready for a bath and then bed. And with my wife waking up in the middle of the night lots of times I just want to sleep in ...............
  12. We'll have to bust out with tha Spartan Cheerleaders to egg you on.
  13. Lookin' forward to it.
  14. Man if I would have started off with what you did I think my outcome would have come out worse than with the putty on the side. lol . Great work goin' on here!
  15. Wow! What a clean build!!!! I had a red coupe just almost like this one and it sure brings back some memories.
  16. This is cool!! Thumbs up here!
  17. That looks like a good build to me especially considering that its the Revell kit. The last time I built one of those was about 30-ish years ago. I've got a Tamiya Mustang in the stash as well and one day I hope to build it.
  18. Tyrone I can't tell you how much I enjoy watching your builds. This is some inspiring stuff and I learn something every time I check in it seems like.
  19. Thanks Lloyd! Tadah!!! I'm now able to get back on this site at work!!! Cool!!
  20. Thanks Kevin! I've been on this one now for almost 6 months and with any luck I'll be done by the end of the year. lol
  21. Hmm.....looks to be a cool build.
  22. I've always been drawn to this car. I've never really cared for the wheels but the layout is awesome. Great job on a really wild car Bernie!
  23. Thanks Mike! I dunno yet. I'm just building on it somewhat steadily and seeing where it goes. We'll see how "professional-built" it is when it all starts coming together near the end. You know that point where all the "boo-boos" that weren't thought out all the way through start to show up? lol .
