40 Ford coupe, I hope they fix the poorr hood trim this go around. Would like to see them retool the original headers and wheel covers but Round2 probably blew their development budget on the "NEW" Coca-Cola decals.

Michaels is offering 40% off coupons again but you must sign up for Michaels Rewards to get them. Good onetime only for one regular priced item. I've received one a week over the past two weeks by emails from Michaels. Have been getting them on a Sunday and the coupon is valid through Saturday of the same week. Their model selection isn't what it used to be but I picked up the Revell 56 Del Ray at 40 off at my local Michaels

Just want to thank everyone that made it to the show yesterday. We had 139 entries for the contest along with about 30 models on the display tables. All the vendors did well and are looking forward to our next show. Also a huge thank you to VFW Post 2031 in Statesvile, NC for providing us with an excellent venue for the event. We plan on having the show again next October and we are considering an event for April 2022. I will get some pics up and a list of the contest winners during the week. -

Sad to hear. I met Rich at the South Carolina Modelers Association show in Simponsville, SC several years ago. He was down visiting LIARS member Tom Valenta and he noticed my Northern accent (I'm originally from Long Island as was Rich). Talked to him on and off during the event, a very personable guy.

A reminder that the Fast Trax Raceway and Hobbies Swap and Show will be held this Saturday October 16th. All 30 tables have been sold and spectator response has been very good. Hope to see you there! -

Thanks Mark, I didn't think to look at instructions from the early 60's.

AMT dual axle trailer from the Cal Drag Combo question. Can anyone ID these parts that are on this tree for the trailer? They are not shown in the instructions.

What Did You Accomplish Today? (Model Car Work)
VW93 replied to Snake45's topic in General Automotive Talk (Trucks and Cars)
Tom, found this info on Wikipedia "The 1955-1957s were made in right-hand drive and shipped from Oshawa Car Assembly in Oshawa, Ontario, for local assembly in Australia (CKD), New Zealand (SKD) and South Africa. All three model years had a reversed version of the '55 LHD dashboard and did not get the LHD models' 1957 redesign." -
Robert, natural plastic, the only parts I detailed were the taillights with an old felt tip marker. Plastic is not as bright as the newer issue AMT kits that are molded in white. I may add the side pipes to it once I decide on the decals for it Kit was the Street Rod series from 1974 which I believe was the first time it was reissued.
