  1. Thanks everyone for the ID
  2. I'll go with unknown Pontiac FC chassis and components when I put it up for trade. Trying to get some issues sorted out with an on line postage/ shipping site before I put it up. Thanks
  3. Went back to Drastic Plastics and it seems most of the components were used on numerous kits. When I put it up for trade I'll list it as unknown for sure MPC Funny Car components Thanks for all the input
  4. Not sure if more than 1 kit, they were in a ziplock bag with no info written on it.
  5. Cleaning up my building area and came across these parts. Tried to find out what kit they were from by looking through the Drastic Plastics instructions but had no luck. Will be going up for trade once I know what they are and I can come with something I can use. Thanks
  6. Snake, PM me, I have a new hood piece
  7. Thanks for the info, I wasn't thinking about Trophy Series kits .
  8. Can anyone tell me what kit these came in. I'm assuming it would be a 1966 issue due to the date of 4-66 on the back of the decal. Thanks
  9. I hope they do the Trans AM with the Ram Air hood and the Charger with a stock hood. I'd bee in for a couple of each along with the stock hood version Nova. One to build and one for slot car conversions.
  10. How about the rims from the Ridge Runner Pinto or Rat Trap Vega modified kits?
  11. Can anyone tell me what type/brand these rims are? I have a couple of sets of these that I'll be putting up in the trade or wanted thread this week. Just wanted to know what they are called so I can describe them. Thanks in advance.
  12. My buys from yesterdays MDA Roanoke VA Model Show and Swap. Got some great deals, the Spirit of 57, 69 Chevelle and 59 Imperial were sealed and $15.00 each. The F85 and snap Barracuda were complete and unbuilt. Same for the Pyro 37 Chevy which is for a friend of mine that owned a 1:1 coupe back when. Also bought the dual axle trailer from the Monogram Modified Racer and Trailer kit, and a decal from the Swingster for the late 50's contingency decals. If you haven't made it to this show in the past you should try to make it.
  13. Went through some more parts kits, found quite a few items to post next week in the trade forum. Also got my pickup loaded with 27 boxes with about 300 kits I'm taking to the MDA Model Show and Swap in Roanoke VA tomorrow.
  14. Looking forward to tomorrow! Just finished loading 27 boxes with about 300 kits in them. I'll have two tables with kits and resin bodies from Fast Trax Resins at the show. Look for the old guy wearing a black AMT 50 Year Anniversary sweatshirt.
  15. Those decals are disappointing, thankfully I've plenty of parts box decals. The contingency and race car in tow decals are about the useful ones on the sheet.
  16. Since I do my spray painting outdoors and the weather hasn't been cooperating I've only accomplished a little on this build . I cut out the gauge panel and will replace it with sheet styrene and decals for a tach and water & oil pressure gauges. I also punched out two pieces of .010 styrene with a hole punch and covered the seat mounting openings on the bottom of the interior. I'm also going to hang a gas pedal from the dash. The floorboards look a bit tight to fit the Moon pedal and it looks lousy sitting partially on the transmission hump. Did get some color on some parts. All painting has been done with Tamiya white primer with Testors Diamond Dust as a base coat. The roll bar and ladder bars were painted with Testors Icy Blue lacquer. The inner firewall, steering wheel, roll bar padding, dash and seats were done with Testors enamel Blue Metal Flake.
  17. I like it. The 40 Fords are one of my favorite kits.
  18. The Buick Grand National Buick GNX's were also tooled in the late 80's.
  19. Had it together with Elmers while I was checking the interior fit and how much of the inside firewall can be seen with the Interior. I'll mock it up again tonight and take one tomorrow and send it to you in a PM. I don't want to clog up your thread
  20. Thanks, yours fit so well and I've got a decent size gap on the bottom of the firewall on both sides. Will have to do a bit more test fitting. I already filed the hinge bar and caps to open them up a bit. Will just have to see how it all goes together.
  21. I reserved a vendors table the other night. Hope to have some time to get a few pics of the contest.
  22. What did you do to get the front end and the body to line up? The other pics seem to show the firewall attached without any gaps to the cowl. I was thinking of using some small pieces of styrene angle to do the same on my 49 coupe.
  23. Dave, I'll get back to you tomorrow if my buddy doesn't want the parts.
  24. I was given several boxes of parts years ago and am trying to see what kits they are for. I am assuming these were from an AMT Funny Car kit from ?. I don't have a need for them and if none of my friends need them I'll be posting them in the trade thread. Thanks
