  1. I saw this today and after looking the box I still don't know what scale it is. It is a snap kit with almost Lego like connections for assembly.
  2. So just how odd are your chickens then?
  3. The side of the tank reads" PLUME"(I think). Cab entry would be awkward at best. Tough build challenge in Scale with the multiple curved surfaces.
  4. Commendable work on both. Thanks for sharing.
  5. Fresh sweet corn and tomatoes for the first time this year. Tasty!
  6. Thanks for taking the time to share your photos with us. Lots of LBF (low, black and fast) to drool over.
  7. That fastback profile screams AMT '51 Chevy roof clip. It looks really natural from all angles. Thanks for sharing.
  8. Very well done. Clever way to narrow the roof as well. Thanks for sharing.
  9. Maybe we should use the term "parts changers" instead of mechanics.
  10. I got what I consider to be a great gift. To make sure this object is not simply discarded someday a couple that attends the same church we do gave me an 1861 civil war era hand sewn American flag. They have had it for decades after discovering it in the attic of an old country home here in Ohio. Since I am the president of our local historical society it will a permanent display item in our community museum. The flag is understandably fragile and will undergo some preservation before being displayed.
  11. I have collected things all my life, from native American stone artifacts to toys including but not limited to:marbles,Cracker Jack prizes, wooden tops, skate keys, lead soldiers,50's era Archer spacemen, rockets, robots, promo model cars, license plates, miniature gas pumps and on and on. I am am avid reader having everything by Clive Cussler and all the Jack Reacher stuff, the bible, game of thrones(twice) plus coffee table books on motorcycles, antique cars, guitars, rock houses, etc. I do 3D art work as well taking multiple copies of favorite images of antique cars and motorcycles and stacking up ever smaller parts of those images until the project is as many as 30 layers deep. I mentor kindergarten age kids at our local elementary school, and am involved in our Big Brother-Big sister lunch buddies program. I love to sing and am active in our local church choir(not good-just loud).Add in family and doing my best to help my wife of 55 years deal with her health issues including heart and COPD makes for a diverse use of whatever time I have left on this earth(I am 76).

    Scratch Rod

Sometimes those spur of the moment builds using hat's at hand are really fun. I prefer the deep dish dark center wheels myself. Thanks for sharing.
