I guess if this vehicle were totaled in an acident all of the scattered parts could simply be loaded into the center of the contaner and simply be taken directly to the recycling center?

Miles....I posted my kit bashed phantom Anglia high boy coupe photos yesterday. Thanks for the suggestion! -
At the suggestion of one of my best friends Tim Boyd I am posting some reciently taken photos of some of my early attempts at model building. Some of these will be Model T conversions from the Brass era of flat front fenders and square cornered radiators. I hope these will prove an intresting insight into those eary MPC contest days and some of the models I created for them. Thanks for looking ! http://public.fotki.com/misterNNL/1910-ford-flatbed

The following file contains photos of a project I started years ago.I never liked the Anglia styling all that much to start with so I decided to give it a spin I'd never seen before by turning one into a three window coupe highboy street rod. This involves some fearless slice and dice with the razor saw to combine parts of three different classic kits:The Revell sedan drag car,the Monogram 1934 Ford three window coupe and an AMT 1932 Ford roadster. Follow along.Hope you enjoy it.

Great model of a brass era vehicle! That period produced some of the most beautiful cars ever made.I wish more builders would build vehicles from that classic era.

I have always considered this model to be the benchmark piece that achieves the pinacle of modeling skills.Very few if any builders today would be willing to devote the time and effort necessary to replicate this well crafted piece.Unless of course someone was to offer the whole thing as a complete kit by simply opening a box containing everything necessary either cast of resin, white metal and photo etched parts. If only we could find some way to inspire a new generation of model builders to strive for anything that approaches this level of perfection.

Back From The Dead.... Anglia Street Roddin'

I'm also watching this unfold.Geat to see the bdoy style changed as well. One of my many unfinished projects is one of these that I am converting to a three window coupe. The roof from the windshield back is a pie wedge cut Monogram Ford coupe piece and the rear includes parts of an AMT '32 Ford roadster. It's also a fenderless highboy with independent front suspension. Looking good! -
Great model!Stance is perfect and attention to accurate details is outstanding.

The base models of the real cars never had all of the flashy trim like the top of the line models did. These were basic transportation for blue collar guys, salesmen and farmers looking to get from point A to point B.They dirve the heck out of them, patched them to keep them running as long as possible, then parked them out behind barns or up on blocks in their chicken yards. I answred an ad in our local paper once for a 1965 Chevy biscayne two door sedan in "original condition"with only 12,000 miles on it. When we arrived to look at it the car was parked along side a chicken coop that had a rusty metal roof.Let's just say the white paint had an intersting patina to it long before rust was cool. The car did indeed only have 12 grand on the odometer......the owner of the car said his older brother who never had a drivers license has never driven it on the road.Think about that for a minute....12,000 miles and no road miles.Where did all of the miles come from?Honestly the owner told he his brother had only ever driven it inside the confines of their farm..are you still with me here(?)....over plowed ground!!Yes is needed some suspension work. True story..and no,I didn't buy it.
