  1. I love this idea! and I especially love the rendering!
  2. I wasn't sure if I'd finish this one before the end of the year, but I got the bug and since we had an extended weekend I decided to tackle it. I was going to spray and detail the chassis but It's nice to just slap one together every once in a while. I did however detail the side trim on the doors and the window trim in BMF and flat black paint.
  3. Looking good. Is this the Lindberg issue?
  4. I dont know much about apple products, or how they work but depending on the format that the content on the cd's is, you may be able to upload them to iTunes and then view them on the iPod. But I can't say for certain. Apple is weird and proprietary so you can't just the stuff back to a jpeg or mp3 from itunes... one of the reasons I hate apple. You oughta get a nice 7" or so android tablet, then just convert all those files to jpeg's or to PDF's (if they arent already) and android already has built in PDF readers and have no issues viewing jpegs. Then all you'd need to do is plop them on a micro SD card, and you can put them on the tablet and take it anywhere you wanna go
  5. Nearly had tornados last night where I live. In '09 we had a warm winter here as well. I chock it up to extrapolated climate patterns. But yeah, I can totally live with it! If I don't have to put the mud tires on my Ranger then I'm a happy person. They're heavy lol

    My 2015

Great looking builds. I love the Dart. Has a very humble daily driver look to it
  7. Thats very cool! Good idea on the decals too! definitely modernizes it a little!
  8. Ive chatted back and forth with him. He bought all of afxnscale resins stuff when they sold out. Seems to be quick at responding. At least when i was talking to him. He lists things about every other week. Sometimes he has stuff listed, sometimes he doesnt. Said hes been working on redoing some of the afxnscale molds if salvagable
  9. That is way cool!
  10. Are you talking about the F150 based Mark LT truck, or the Lincoln Blackwood? and as far as I know, unless someone has done a resin cast of it... I doubt it... because even styrene kits of a regular 04-08 F150 nor Explorer Sporttrac exist.
  11. Looks great that way! I have 2 of those kits... one will be the ZZ Top car, the other will be the California Kid car.
  12. Man I really love your builds. They always have the right look and attitude.
  13. Thats a beautiful Dart! Just needs some blackwash in the grille
  14. I like where this is going!
  15. Welcome aboard.
  16. I lose track of time pretty easily... I blame my job
  17. That is an absolutely gorgeous build Erik. I mean really, it's stellar. Super clean. I'm guessing the rear tires are rat roadster tires, and fronts are AMT parts pack? I also love the decals on the seats. Are those from the kit? I dont recall what was on the decal sheet myself at this moment.
  18. Fantastic builds. I love seeing what others are doing w/ the new Camaro.
  19. Darn! any idea what it came from originally!
  20. Looks good! I havent looked at my drag mustang kit closely enough yet.... does the supercharger come with it?
  21. I wish I wasn't so far away, I'm itching to go to a show.
  22. No offense, but you're a week or so behind on this one.
  23. Thanks folks. I really appreciate it.
  24. Oh, I also sometimes reorganize my stash. That helps sometimes too. Brings something from the back to the front and gives me renewed interest or a new spark of idea.
  25. I usually try to go off of what the theme is for each month for the club I'm in. But not always. Other times it's something that I've owned so long I'm sick of not seeing it built. Or something that grabs my interest and doesnt let go. Other times it's something I see on TV or a movie... or heck, even just driving down the road! So all in all... its pretty random for me.
