  1. The dog dish caps from Revell's '70 RoadRunner should work. I used them on another model at one time as well. Should give you that look you're going for. http://www.amazon.com/Revell-Monogram-Plymouth-Road-Runner/dp/B00643LK10
  2. I still have my charger packed in the box. haven't touched it.
  3. I actually bought some Mustang II parts off of a guy that was building one of these in 1:1 form... very slowly lol. But it was going pretty well. Definitely an interesting swap.
  4. I need a shoebox ford like oxygen....
  5. I wish I could remember everyone that I've done a trade with on here, but I must say, very positive experiences with those that I have done deals with.
  6. I signed up. Been really busy so I might not post much especially in summer, but I'm there.
  7. Love it. Thanks for finding this.
  8. Looking better every day!
  9. I just wish I could come up with a good wash to create depth. I'm terrible at it. I would love to have a few bottles of grays and blacks around for that. Because I hate that my door jambs and trunk jambs are body color. takes all the realism out of it.. but if they're pitch black it looks fake anyway. I try to weather/patina/rust things how they would look in real life. I love looking at pictures of rusty cars and studying how and where the rust develops overtime on them.
  10. Ive been wanting to get this kit, but have not seen any in my local hobby store lately.
  11. Cool I need to find one of these! I had a '95 with the 5.2 and the crazy looking tunnel port type intake, almost looked like an old supercharger but without all the cool noises haha! Mine was light driftwood metallic with tan interior... man that thing would go, and go anywhere.
  12. Nice spray booth! Is that basically a box fan with a furnace filter surrounded by cardboard?
  13. I really need to pick me up some evergreen... I cant believe I've not made a roll cage for anything yet. This must me rectified! Good work!
  14. Looks great! I'd love to find some of those rims so I can make an Eleanor clone. My favorite bodystyle of mustang... well.. besides all of them lol
  15. I like where this is going. Less lowrider, and more function
  16. that thing is going to look sinister!
  17. Fred, that car needs about a half dozen 1:25 scale leaf blowers in the back! lol
  18. you have a kit with no chrome parts for it now? I'm thinking rat rod....
  19. Get some round evergreen (not the hollow tube stuff) get it warm, and make some bends around like a pen or something and it will look like a nice clean mandrel bent cage. Google foxbody mustang rollcages for some good images. i've wanted to do something similar myself but havent found an excuse
  20. Looks great, identical paint and interior color of the '70 Chevelle I built when I was younger. I took a radio antenna and cut it down, and used a dremel and cut an angle on them to have slant cut exhaust tips
  21. Actually, they posted it on their facebook page when they found it.
  22. Madness, absolute madness!!! and I love it!!! You scratchbuilders blow my mind! How can you get soooo detailed and not mess the part up royally????
  23. Hey folks, I've got a '72 Chevy pickup long bed, I'd like to make it in to a short bed. Has anyone done this before? Where do I need to place my cuts to the bed/chassis to get the right look? I want to make a sort of muscle truck out of it, and a long bed just doesnt fit the look I'm going for. thanks in advance!
