I would love to wander around and check out all those sweet old American cars still hiding out down there. I remember reading articles in Hemmings that popped up a lot about photos of really rare cars down there just chilling, and not really rotting that bad either.

I actually bought some Mustang II parts off of a guy that was building one of these in 1:1 form... very slowly lol. But it was going pretty well. Definitely an interesting swap.

I just wish I could come up with a good wash to create depth. I'm terrible at it. I would love to have a few bottles of grays and blacks around for that. Because I hate that my door jambs and trunk jambs are body color. takes all the realism out of it.. but if they're pitch black it looks fake anyway. I try to weather/patina/rust things how they would look in real life. I love looking at pictures of rusty cars and studying how and where the rust develops overtime on them.

Cool I need to find one of these! I had a '95 with the 5.2 and the crazy looking tunnel port type intake, almost looked like an old supercharger but without all the cool noises haha! Mine was light driftwood metallic with tan interior... man that thing would go, and go anywhere.

Get some round evergreen (not the hollow tube stuff) get it warm, and make some bends around like a pen or something and it will look like a nice clean mandrel bent cage. Google foxbody mustang rollcages for some good images. i've wanted to do something similar myself but havent found an excuse
