  1. I think I have some pics I can look for later. Its really just steel rods with yolk ends that attach right out the top of the gear box, then run back to the shifts.
  2. Its from a 1/34 diecast Diamond T. Its perfect size for light duty 1/25.
  3. Thanks guys, I always appreciate the kind words. This is pretty much how the truck is going to look. Theres not going to be a ton of scratchbuilding on this. Im going to put some diamond plate on the bed floor, and build a push bumper. I need to source an orange lightbar from somewhere. My plan is to use the kit decals to make it a Ford dealership wrecker.
  4. After getting bogged down in several big rig builds, I decided to tear open a Moebius 69 F-100. I wanted to make a few changes, as in turn it into an F-350. I knew the frame was bigger, and after some digging, I found some frame specs. I added styrene strip to the bottom of the frame to bring it up to size. This made all of the mounting tabs unusable, but no biggie. I lengthened the wheelbase(not quite to F-350 standards, but close enough), and modified the bed for the look I wanted. I didnt want a generic wrecker body, I had envisioned the stock bed with booms. The dually fenders are from the AMT TUFF Truck kit. The booms and tower are from a 1/34 Diamond T diecast. The wheels are from the snap Dodge kit. Roof light are from Ford shorthauler kit. Thats all for now. I havent decided on a powerplant, or rear end yet.
  5. Nice build.I like the set-up. Its got a little model truck history built into it, being that its an old Gortsema cab. I think it would great pulling a lowboy, as well as the michigan dumps. It reminds me of an old green Autocar I used to see around here. Great job.
  6. Is good to see it with that cab on it. Its taking shape to be a unique truck.
  7. I like this one a lot. It looks great on the 1/24 chassis and wheels. Ive always thought these cabs look too big for 1/25 scale. Noce job.
  8. Excellent work Dennis. The foil work looks great, as does the steering and chassis work.
  9. This truck is just too cool Jarda. I love it!
  10. Very entertaining work. Im fully tuned in to this build.Great job
  11. I just found this. Nice styrene work on all of the bars. This is a cool project, and a cool transformation of the kit.
  12. Now thats a cool GMC. Winn Dixie grocery stores used to run a fleet of 9500s back in the good ole days. They replaced them with Brigadiers and then Volvos. That yard full of old green 9500s was cool.
  13. Wow! Its great to see this one finished. That cab splice is flawless. This really came out great.
  14. Thats a great grab JT. I love the wrecker body in this kit.
  15. Another great build. All of the extra TLC really shows on this one. I like the paint job and the bud wheels. It really looks great.
  16. Fine job. Great looking build
  17. The pics are a little blurry, but it looks like a good build. It should be easy enough to restore. It would look good with a dump trailer behind it.
  18. Does anyone have any info on the frame specs on the 69 Ford trucks? What Im hunting is the differences in frames between the F100,F250, and F350. Also any suspension specs, drivetrain, etc. Thanks in advance!
  19. Cool deal. I hope it all works out.
  20. Well Pat, if you trust me you can have it sent to me and Ill send it to Canada.
  21. Pat, you can buy this cab from frontier. He doesnt have any listed right now, but you can message him and see.
  22. Very cool idea. Nice work so far. On the ramps, may I suggest some sort of hydraulic ramps that fold up and stay mounted to the rear of the bus?
