  2. beautiful seats Scott, and welcome back! ... the carpet looks better too ... or is the weathered effect from a bit of dust from sitting so long? .... just sayin’ ?
  3. .... this was one of my favorite builds and I had full intentions on weathering it like the vintage race pics ... but once done, i didn’t have the guts ... bravo sir
  4. I love your style Tomasz. Great kit. Great detail and fabrication. Great display and photos. ... and then, you dirty it up just right with superb execution and show off by wetting the tires and rain drips down the body sides and photograph it on an overcast day Amazing job .
  5. thanks Bruce ... I guess it would be cool at the drive-in ... if your date was a bit of an exhibitionist
  6. ... I got a card for Valentines Day ... it was nice ... but Congrats Bruce!
  7. start with Adobe Draw Adobe Illustrator Draw by Adobe Inc. https://apps.apple.com/us/app/adobe-illustrator-draw/id911156590 ... then save up for Photoshop for the iPad
  8. thank you very much Bruce .... it was the stance I looked for: see post #2 but came out better than I hoped I was inspired by Zagato check the link for a cool brochure
  9. Thanks Rob ... wait til I show ya the race pics
  10. Thanks Bruce ... not low enough I think ... she gotta get a little dirtier I like using your grime on the kit chrome .... in real life (no, really) the effect looks like nickel plated cadmium ...
  11. ... you didn’t give ‘em your social security # did ya?
  12. ... commitment ... just a few more details and race pics and I’ll leave y’all alone ... for a bit ...
  13. Thanks for the posts and pics Mark. This is just wonderful ... although a sport I’ll never be able play ... but inspiring nonetheless. Great great work!
  14. ... maybe the boys can just hop over ... or some swivelin’ pummel horse move ... it’d keep the bambinos away during the Mille Miglia breaks ... so ...
  15. gotta calm down ... ... still not quite right ... but I love the scuff marks ...
  16. overkill ... I think so ...
  17. I got carried away worryin’ about the guys burnin’ their shins so ...
  18. OK ... so ... as I was sayin’ ...
  19. great start Chris! that tub looks really nice already ... could you guys leave the burrs and just go right to a bead? I’m ignurant about F1, but a fan nonetheless ... other than one more excuse for doing stupid stuff, I can’t think of anything good about getting old ... I just got my last surgery to repair my detached retina and will finally get back to a few projects ... the doc said detached retinas aren’t all that uncommon for folks over 50 ... up until then, I thought anything over 2.50 cheater glasses was cheatin’ ...
  20. whew ... thank you ... that explains so much here
  21. Hey Bruce, I had great luck copying this technique below... you already have a nice surface. A dull coat or two and optional weathering will make those tires perfecto ... I’ll bet ... straightliner1, the process for doing the rear tires are as follows. 1 - apply future to sidewall 2 - apply decals 3 - spray sidewall with coat of Testors dullcoat 4 - use charcol colored pastel chalk to tone down/weather the lettering, that's it! Charlie
  22. this project is so outta the box, you probably lost the instructions awhile back right? ... great creativity!
  23. WOW x 10 ... you added just enough “weathering” to bring out the detail but still look factory fresh ... beautiful!
  24. ... for ten bucks I can design a logo ... or a token cut of the take
  25. ... I just started breathing normally again since the “three-piece odometer reset knob” ... please slow down and never finish this seriously Mark, a big part of this wonderful build is how perfect your scaling is (hence “Scale-Master” I know) ... do you convert every measurement or eyeball some, or a lot? ... like the wiring Is your vector program for decals and parts preset with a scaled template or do you size after? the detailing, execution, design, etc is amazing but I’ve never seen such consistent true scaling ...
