  1. Thanks Bill. How’s that 1:1 goin’?
  2. Thanks Andy. That will be my option if I can’t fit otherwise . the other problems are the water lines over the top of the engine and the steering box room ... but those are down the road
  3. Lol ... bring it on, but know this is a fantasy build so I can do what I want I hope things are well with you Scott
  4. Hey thanks Bruce. Shortly after posting I played around and suddenly remembered I built the manifold with nuts made from tube stock inside the block on each exhaust so that I could swivel them to accommodate any angle ... I wish I took pics I really want the side exhausts to complement those giant heads stickin out of the car. Those Alpha guys woulda wet their pants at that scene ... it won’t be easy though
  5. I really want to have the exhaust go out the side, but it’s gonna be tight ...
  6. ... as I was sayin’ ... i think I got the proportions to where I want it ...
  7. Great job! The only criticism is the giant clothespins in the vintage-look pics ...
  8. Absolutely beautiful Chris ... so clean and professional I’d love to see what your next version would be . Thanks for showing this one!
  9. Koool stuff ... great job on the distributor and plugs!
  10. wow ... shame no more pics
  11. i cant think of anything else to say ... but thank you very much for the pics Douglas
  12. Speaking for myself Steve, I see no redundancy ... your pics are great and all are “substantial” and beyond . Nice work!
  13. Not as fine as Dave’s above, but I had a blast with mine: http://www.modelcarsmag.com/forums/topic/110428-the-first-l-88/
  14. GREAT JOB SCOTT! I hope you keep going!
  15. Stunning ... absolutely stunning ...
  16. Absolutely stunning ... thank you for sharing! The "solder" is great!
  17. Nice!
  18. This angle really shows your custom work Cato ... and oh, what an improvement to the box kit ... wow i miss Harry's constructive criticism, but I think he'd have few words here ... bravo sir ...
  19. COOL ... videos! neat. Those pulleys are spinning pretty smoothly.
  20. what a great build Frank ! The detail on those bits is great. Thanks for sharing . It's most inspiring.
  21. great work John ... lotsa oil leakage though. Do they drag British cars there or something?
  22. I hope you post everything here ... a couple years ago you, Cato, and Harry convinced me (indirectly anyway) to get into the Pochers and I got the Fiat just as Harry took a turn for the inevitable and I was about to start this '32 project as a warm-up into 1/8 scale i plan on getting to the Pocher Fiat next season ...
  23. Thanks Scott ... I'm gonna take a bit of a break ... the heart's not quite in it and I don't want to screw it up how's your "crib" going? I thought I'd see a Pocher half done by now?
  24. I suggest making things as simple as possible ... have a small banner on every page with donation info ... $10 min ... PayPal/send check (no credit cards - too insecure) ... large print "Donate Here" then see what happens ...
  25. Thank you Skip. I'll miss the conversations between you and your old friend Harry. The respect you always gave Harry enhanced my attention to his work and the appreciation of it ... You give me inspiration to get things right ... or at least as much as I can ...
