  3. Years ago my friend and I got a commision job from BFI for some models. We used Jim Etter cabs and pick up arms, and the MPC mixer chassis. The containers were all scratch built with evergreen sheet and sqaure stock The conventional is the AMT Mack greg

  7. Built the Simba years ago and now the tires are oozing, Anyone know what to do. I have a replace order into Revell but they only send replace orders to Germany when they get about a container worth to ship back and by then the kit is oop. greg

  9. I have sold this unit so I thought I'd share it before it leaves my fire station. Started out with the Johnny Lightning Jurassic park die cast Hummer, made the back assembly, added the Revell front mount pump to the rear, made up hydraulic rescue power unit and reel from the Italeri Mercedes wagon and then added some fire stuff from AMT and Monogram kits, the front remote monitor is scratch built plastistruct elbow and starters and an oil filter for the motors. greg

  13. Chris was right there was a coupon on the instructions, I cropped an ebay picture from a recent auction and one of the unique petals of the instruction sheet had the coupon on it. $2.00 for the posters, hope you got a deal at the sale greg

Took the boys out of the Revell die cast and updated them into a nice 2005 promo vette and added a luggage rack then sent them out looking for route 66 Had to extend the steering column to get the wheel to Todd. Buzz got a cell phone in his hand that held the grab rail in the '61 Could someone tell me why I can't load pic from photobucket to here? greg

  20. The Yellow one I built was a gift to a very young fire buff that is a son of one of my fellow workers. So in order for it to last the car case was glued shut. It sits in a place of honor in his bedroom. The other gift I made with these is for newborn babies of firefighters, I would hog out the hose bed and stick Oshkosh baby socks in the hose bed and the truck was either blue or pink and the engine number was the birth date and the fire department the family name greg

  22. Another nice conversion is the match of the Louisville and the AMT ALF pumper body. This was done a few years ago and was 'weathered' by my house fire. greg
