  1. If you are talking about the center of the rim, that is custom built. The ring and tire is the 23 inch sleave.
  2. the tires on the rear are from Pegusas and the fronts are also Pegusas but have the width narrowed up.
  3. Doing some work on Brute Force this week, the hood is so thin now and have started puttying inside it to smooth it out also did the inner fenders and door handles as I just have to scrib around them.Yes they are two part door handles
  4. I will be back on building this wild monster here this week, I first like to appoligize to Mark Jones for not bring her to GSL in Salt Lake and wish I did as he was grace enough of going over some real hard detail under standing for this build. After having about an hr long talk with Mark he was able to walk me through on what needs to be redone (not in a bad way because of looks or any thing) but for making sure every thing will fit under the hood when it's built and done. To understand on what to add and keep for scale work at this level and being 1/24th scale is very hard to make sure it works and fits in the end. Unlike working with brass i'm doing every thing with sheet plastic and there is a very limited space I can work with and still be right. Again I will have to be deleting some detail and parts but its for the better good of the build then any thing and want to thank Mark D Jones on this for all the great help he is offering me to make sure this build will be as good as it can.
  5. Last count I heard was about 180 cars on the tables. They was aveging 18 to 20 cars a class with 1 class was taken out because of no enterys and 2 classes had less then 8 people in them. So figur 16 adult classes at 18 to 20 cars.
  6. GSL 25 dates are April 30th till May 3rd 2015!
  7. Tom it would be great to see you back out there again also! I'm still trying to get back to the east as soon as I can figur out a way of putting it between builds and time wise.
  8. This was wounderful to see in person and great to see you and your father this last weekend! Always a great time and yes I did take in every thing you was saying to do for the camaro and want to thank you a lot.
  9. Just got on the computer for the first time today and all I can say is wow what a show, Great meeting Bill Davis for the first time and had fun with Art and John, Simon and Mike thanks for sunday we had a great time like normal. Thanks to Mark D Jones for all the help that will be needed for this next project and so many great builders to name! Congrats to all the winner and Gregg for Backdraft taking it all home!
  10. I have to agree with Mark on this! What a stand out in person Bill and it was great talking to you and meeting you, see you in June in Kansas.
  11. Very nice work Mark and see you and your father in a few days!
  12. Thank every one, the house fire was in the garage as my father was moving his custom truck up to do some work and a fuel line filter (glass on) broke and sparked a nasty fire inside the garage. We all are ok the truck is kind of messed up with wiring and such that was burned. See you in Salt Lake this weekend and hope every one has fun on the forums!
  13. Did the rocker panels after we had the house fire today! had to do some thing to take my mind off of stuff just before leaving to Salt Lake on Wensday. The other camaro frame is for another project but has some of the same work done to it or will have in the end. For the rim I was making some rings and more fine tuning them for the thickness of the paint and clear that will be added to them so the parts will go together in the end.
  14. Mark didn't you have liquid in the car that won at the GSL in the oil pan?
  15. Was able to do some rim rings tonight and checking for offsets. The rears are with in .02mm and the fronts are real close and will need be just a little neater and clean.
  16. Not sure what Mark uses but Ajax and a toothbrush works great on brass and solder joints.
  17. Relocated the core support to the right spot tonight put the radiator in and the oil cooler support on and also started the outter skin for the trunk lid.
  18. thank you for the kind words and looking at it. I just wish there was more then just me doing this work on it as each part takes so long to fit and make it right and then figure out the thickness of the paint and so on so it will look good in the end.
  19. Making the core support and also seeing if the radiator is going to fit into place. still have to put the oil cooler together and make the bracket for that.
  20. Thank you for the kind words! Inner front fenders done and seam fitted in and now have to work on the core support bracket and oil coolers.
  21. Gen 3 3d Printer came in yesterday and been running new electrical wires from one side of the room to the other after I move the walls out.
