Redid the taillight panel on my build again. Used red decals mounted above on the inner top of the chrome and they are reflected in the angled chrome below.

Had this kit in my stash for decades. Pulled it out and got her done. Added a 4bbl carb to the engine and used the optional exhaust pipe as I didn't care for the body side exhaust. Added parts to the interior to make it more accurate. Kit did not come with a tonneau cover, so I made one, (need a roof beam decal from the latest release AMT Deora kit to add to the cover). Corrected the rear taillight panel. Paint is Testors rattlecan Inca Gold lacquer. Future acrylic clear coat. Build tread in the WIP model truck section. Comments and suggestions welcome.

Calling it done. New tread in under glass model trucks.

Nope, I had to make one.

Got some more prep done. Cut out the engine cover in the bed. Made a tonneau cover for it.

Glued the rear roll pan on. Added a console and front door panel to the interior. Made a new steering wheel. Reworked the taillight panel . Didn't realize how bad one of the wheels was (now that's a sink mark). Trying to source a couple of replacement wheels in the wanted section. Also looking for a tonneau cover that the kit didn't come with. Paint might be Testors Inca Gold. Let me know what you think.

Glued the windshield frame and door in the body (never got them to work right on the first one I built). Made a steering wheel and corrected the taillight panel as you did. Any progress on yours?
