  1. There was never any tin work in the original Tom Daniel designed Monogram 1/32 funny cars.
  2. Wild Bill's sold his inventory to the Hobbytown on Mockingbird Lane. Hobbytown and Hobby Lobby are all that I know are left , oh, and Micheals has some picked over kits with spray paint on them.
  3. Went through the parts box and found a 3x2 bbl GTO engine, '67 GTO firewall, a radiator wall, a set of Hurst wheels, some GTO mufflers and tail pipes, even found the '67 GTO chassis that does not have the exhaust system or rear axle molded in. Guess I'll have to get one of these kits to try and convert it from curbside Promo to a full display piece.
  4. There's a Nichimo one slot car kit on Feebay right now from Japan for only $530. Nichimo 1/24 Hi Speed Custom Car Manta Ray Vintage Rare | eBay
  5. Yep, been watching for one for decades. Never understood why AMT or MPC never came out with a kit for one back in the 60's.
  6. I'll be following. Have one in my stash.
  7. There was no interior tin in these Mono 1/32 TD FC kits, there was in the Revell 1/32 funny cars.
  8. Same here. X2
  9. With the new release by Atlantis of the old MonoRev 1/32 scale funny cars, I decided to try a build combining an old Mono 1/32 scale TD ("Earthquake") Vega FC body with a new Atlantis Jungle Jim 1/32 scale Vega FC kit. The new Atlantis JJ Vega has a later body that JJ did not use but I had an old Mono 1/32 TD Vega body that was closer to what he did use. The motor, chassis and interior tin are better on the Atlantis (Revell) JJ kit. Did have to lengthen the chassis to fit the Mono Vega body. The injector ports, wheelie bars and some sponsor decals are from the spare parts box. Glad to see the rereleases by Atlantis. Let me know what you think.
  10. Or maybe my unbuilt MPC Pro Stocks. Although Round 2 keeps releasing them.
  11. Had both the Aurora kit and the Airfix one. Sold the Aurora but still have the Airfix. Hope the Revell release is as good.
  12. Yep, that's the part I used on my build.
  13. Man, I'm telling you, Studebaker didn't put that much effort into the real truck. Outstanding work so far.
  14. Man, I don't think a real Studebaker truck looked this accurate. Really nice work.
  15. Got this in yesterday. Quick build. Had to rework the back half piece of the head as it wasn't molded right. Usually don't use the bases. Goes with the other monsters. Been wanting to do this for years since I messed them up as a kid.
  16. Really good job on this Grumpy build. Great engine and bay work, the box parts were not close. I have a '66, '68, '74, '76, '81 and '83 Grumpy's Toys in progress.
  17. Incredible work on those headers. I was happy to find an old set of Johan funny car headers I worked into my attempt years ago that looked okay.
  18. Wow, some great work there. Like the start of #4. I have #10 on the shelf waiting it's turn.
  19. Great start. I built a replica years ago but I could not find a '49 Business coupe so I used a '41 as they were easier to get. Will be following.
