  1. I'm too old. I remember the Forty Niner series from Monogram back in the Fifties. The reason they were called that is because they were listed for $.49 each. Now $18.99, $27.00 or even $40.00. That's sad!
  2. Then there's Ed Roth's Orbitron. That's how he built it. Look at the slanted rear.
  3. Even though it's a curbside kit, it can be opened up to add an engine and detail the bay.
  4. Holy S***! Somebody OD'ed on something.
  5. The one piece curbside chassis was sad, wheels and tires were unusable, body was Palmerish and the front windshield- flat with railroad tracks molded in for braces ???
  6. Oh, I bought this one just for the decals. The rest went into the trash.
  7. Great job. Love those monster trucks. PM sent.
  8. Good build. Reminds me of my favorite drag pic.
  9. A four door '64 Chevy Biscayne, 6 cylinder, three speed on the column. I remember how the hood would shake when you started off and let the clutch out wrong.
  10. They build it in episode #5 of "The Book of Boba Fett" series on the Disney channel.
  11. Had a built snapfast Naboo fighter in the attic, so took it apart and will try to convert it to Mando's new N-1 Starfighter from the 5th episode of BBF. Painted the yellow parts silver, shortened the tail extension and removed the engine's front narcells. Now gathering parts. Have some cannons and an air cleaner (turbonic Venturi power assimilator cover, ha!) that should work. Still digging for the rest. Looking for a clear observation cover in my aircraft parts box, I know I have one somewhere. Not sure what to use for the lower engine add on's or the center third engine. Wish me luck.
  12. Found this in my stash. Felt it needed some more parts so I added a gas tank, firewall, transfer case, 1/32 blown engine with side header dumps, radiator, battery and some rear roll bar supports. Painted the tonneau cover, decaled and coated the body in Future. Fun quick build.
  13. Great build. I built a tribute of his dad's Camaro.
  14. Well, if they use a parts pack engine, that blower scoop came with the 427 Ford engine parts pack.
  15. I would name it "INSANITY" the definition of which is "doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results".
  16. I believe a good place for info would be here: Randy Ayers Nascar Modeling Forums :: Index (randyayersmodeling.com)
  17. Have Testors Bright Red which always looks more orange than red, will try it. Thanks.
  18. Doing one from my shelf of doom stash, although I preferred the Revell Jeb Allen dragster kit over the AMT Ivo attempt. Wheel pants are from the current release MPC Cosmic Charger. What color orange is that?
  19. As seen in "RoadHouse" movie. Decals added.
  20. Just picked up a Tyrone Malone Hideout truck at my local Hobby Lobby. Didn't know they ever stocked them.
  21. Man, outstanding work. I remember checking the mail every day in the summer of '63 waiting for my Revell SWC Willys kit from Auto World to arrive. Any interior pics?
  22. A 1971 Monte Carlo , 400 ci with 4bbl quadrajet and auto trans. Had one in 1991 but sold it, would like it back.
  23. Wow, great build. It inspired me to get out mine from my stash and work on it. I have made several changes so far. Now on to the body. Thanks for the inspiration.
