  1. Thank you sir. Your build was the motivation for mine.
  2. Got some work done on my restoration of an old USA-1 '74 Vega pro stock to a 1974 Grumpy's Toy Vega. Installed the SB Chevy engine (yes, I painted it black) with a Lenco trans and made and installed a Lenco style shifter.
  3. Outstanding build. Great paint work. I have one in my stash but I am going the easy way out and build the white car version.
  4. Hey guys, thanks for the positive comments. On to the windows, trying to flush fit them into the doors.
  5. Another update. Lengthened header pipes and routed up through body. Raised rear wing some, may try to find longer mounts.
  6. Thanks for the suggestions guys. Tried a Daytona wing but that is overpowering for this low car. May just try to raise the wing I have. Did find some low exit headers from a Trojan Horse Mustang FC kit that may work.
  7. Progress update. Staged a rear wing. Definitely helps the look. Still haven't decided on exhaust openings location.
  8. Great job so far! Are you sure about that injector scoop? Looks to long (1/20th scale?) for the engine IMHO.
  9. Made some more progress today. Rear slicks opening added to body. Wheels and tires added. Not sure what to do about adding exhaust openings in body or reroute different headers. Definitely needs a rear wing.
  10. Thank you. Really like your Scorpion build. That's where I got the idea.
  11. Thanks, was inspired by your Trike builds. Keep 'em coming.
  12. Thanks, had to build one after seeing your Mailbox chopper build.
  13. Some more progress made. Frame and engine painted and assembled. Now cutout opening in body for engine. Rear slicks openings next.
  14. Reminds me of: "Why do the British drink warm beer? Because their refrigerators are made by Lucas."
  15. Got the MPC Tiki Trike kit but made a few changes. Felt the roof was to low for access so cut it off. Also felt the seat back was to laid back for driving so cut it and moved it more upright. This left an open pickup box behind the seat back so made a tonneau cover for it. Rattle can Testors Fiery Orange lacquer. A quick fun build.
  16. It's in the "Piranha" tow (Man from Uncle spy) car. Minus the top/front generator fan belt?
  17. Here's a pic of his '72 small block 330 ci engine.
  18. Now that is good information. Never seen those before.
  19. Have made some progress. Assembled frame and had to lower roll bar to clear coupe roof. Glued rear hood and rear panels to body. Traced frame and engine opening from Piranha drag upper to coupe upper. Cutout for roll bar clearance. Will wait to cutout for blower when engine has been assembled and mounted to frame. Starting to look as imagined. Sourced front air dam and rear spoiler from parts box.
  20. Got a Piranha Drag team kit. Am going to try and build a Piranha "Coupe" funny car using the Piranha Coupe upper body and the Piranha dragster lower body, frame, engine, wheels and tires.
  21. Casey, will the Mooneyes Dragster H1223 contain the complete "Parts Pack" trees or specific parts for the Mooneyes Dragster only. Man I need The Roadster Chassis Speed equipment tree badly.
  22. The rear engine dragster can be converted to a FE one with a little cutting. Made the one in the pic from such.
  23. Here's a pic of the restored '69 Nova FC.
