  1. Found a replacement part for the top of the shock tower detail. A three point wheel center knockoff spinner from the spare parts box looks very close.
  2. Thanks. Yep, I made the engine bay from the spare parts box. Wow, outstanding paint work. Hope you're faster than I was.
  3. Bet ya gave up on me. I finally got her done.
  4. What If Dyno Don had a backup to his '73 Pinto Pro Stock. Maybe a '73 Mustang Mach I. Well, I started this project in 2020 and finally got around to decaling it. I'm calling it done. Had a WIP thread I started years ago. MPC Mach I kit, Testors rattle can Bright Red and Slixx decals.
  5. Finally got back to decaling it and drug it over the finish line.
  6. Very well done, Michael. Don't forget the gas and water tanks.
  7. Have another winner but I need help to remember what year and drivers. The 936 Martini Porsche is a 936/77, I think (1977 winner?) by Tamiya, driven by Hurley Haywood and Jacky Ickx.
  8. The 1978 winner, Renault A442B by Tamiya, driven by Jean-Pierre Jaussaud and Didier Pironi.
  9. How about an IMC kit, Ford Gt40 1969 winner. Drivers -Jackie Oliver, Jacky Ickx.
  10. Thanks guys. I wish I could remember who made the decals, they were very nice.
  11. Thanks. Nope, they are from the recent MPC Cosmic Charger dragster kit rerelease.
  12. Went with the Testors Bright Red. Looks pretty close.
  13. Just finished. Tommy Ivo's 1974 dragster.
  14. Well, I finally finished. Used an old Revell Jeb Allen dragster kit. Decals from the internet, paint was Testors rattle can Bright Red.
  15. I'm too old. I remember the Forty Niner series from Monogram back in the Fifties. The reason they were called that is because they were listed for $.49 each. Now $18.99, $27.00 or even $40.00. That's sad!
  16. Then there's Ed Roth's Orbitron. That's how he built it. Look at the slanted rear.
  17. Even though it's a curbside kit, it can be opened up to add an engine and detail the bay.
  18. Holy S***! Somebody OD'ed on something.
  19. The one piece curbside chassis was sad, wheels and tires were unusable, body was Palmerish and the front windshield- flat with railroad tracks molded in for braces ???
  20. Oh, I bought this one just for the decals. The rest went into the trash.
  21. Great job. Love those monster trucks. PM sent.
  22. Good build. Reminds me of my favorite drag pic.
  23. A four door '64 Chevy Biscayne, 6 cylinder, three speed on the column. I remember how the hood would shake when you started off and let the clutch out wrong.
  24. They build it in episode #5 of "The Book of Boba Fett" series on the Disney channel.
