  1. The extra radius rods are in the Revell (sorry) 32 5 window kit
  2. The AMT 32 2n1 kit has two sets of radius rods. One set for the High Boy and a shorter set for the Coupe. I have two kits and will be building on as a High Boy and one as a Coupe, so I have a extra set of each. Not sure yet about the steering linkage. correction: should be Revell
  3. From all the extra parts in the Switchers, Milner Coupe and the AMT (actually Revell oops)32 5 window 2 in 1, I have enough parts to build another 32 only missing the frame.
  4. Thanks for the info Funny thing is the kit sitting next to this one is the same Switcher kit you have. I will check it out Thanks Again Jon
  5. I picked up a AMT American Graffiti 32 Ford Kit at a swap meet that I thought was sealed but as it turned out it was Resealed by the seller. It looks like it is all there but it has a lot of parts that don't go with the Milner Coupe. Such as a unchromed tree with a blower carb setup and something that looks like a weird velocity stack. The chrome tree also has this weird part but it's chromed. There are 7 wheels on the tree 4 that go on the Milner coupe 1 rear wire spoked, 1 front wire spoked and 1 rear deep mag. Is there a way to find out what other kits use these parts ? I wouldn't mind finding another rear deep mag to go with the one I have. Thanks
  6. Looks great Where does one find a 65 Barracuda kit/body ? A local builder is looking for one to build a model of his 1:1 car Thanks Someday I will start my 66 Barracuda build for my 1:1 car
  7. for $10 it's worth a try. Might work well for base coats and primer
  8. Will make a good Courier for my delivery collection
  9. something that looks like this ?
  10. Just tried embossing powder worked great, little white glue brushed on the floor sprayed it with color matching paint and it looks good. Thanks to the people that left the tips on this site
  11. Yes . Read something about hitting a Dear
  12. No , a friend will come and visit you in jail. A good friend will be there beside you.
  13. And where would a person go to buy one ?
  14. Picked this one up Saturday at the Swap meet
  15. I am planning a Milner Coupe style project and trying to pick a color. I am considering maybe a Metallic of flake color. After thinking about it and looking at some of the 1:1 cars it appears that most 32's in the fender less race style have solid colors and the full fendered show car styles have the Flakes and metallic paint. Is this the general feeling on paint schemes ? Would this be out of place on a fender less High Boy ? (this is just a practice body I use for paint tests)
  16. I download those old Youtubes and watch them later. Save them for camping trips when I have no internet
  17. Growing up in the 50's & 60"s we only had on car in the family. My parents almost bought a Renault Dauphine as a second car around 1963 (about $1,500.) but decided against it. As I remember no one seemed to have more than one car to a household.
  18. Picked this up at a hardware store
  19. whats the trick to air brushing? A lot of light coats or just keep spraying until it smooth's out?
  20. I heat up my paint and parts to be painted with a hair dryer. (AutoAir piant) Do not use a heat gun. You can warp a body in an instant.(don't ask me how I know)
  21. Thanks for the info. I will most likely go with the 48 Wagon. There is a swap meet on Nov 1st and I can keep an eye out for one Thanks Jon
  22. When I was about 14ish I got to see this make a pass down at Half Moon Bay. Smoked them all the way down. I remember that trip very well , my little brother and I ran from the spectator area to the pits by running across the staging lanes. Almost got ran over by a Willys Gasser.
  23. Some good stuff for the 1:1 picture area
