  1. Well, as you said before, not every one was the same.
  2. I've got the Moebius Fabulous Hudson Hornet kit. It's going to be a light, very clean '50s custom... think mom gets rid of her car, sells it to the kid around the block who swaps a junkyard engine in and terrorized the local elderly with it. I want to put either the Revell Parts Pack SBC with a blower in it, or the Revell Parts Pack Caddy. Would I still be able to use the Hudson transmission, or would I have to use one from something else? It would make adapting a new engine to the frame easier if I were to use the same transmission, but would it be realistic? Thanks.
  3. On my lunch break, I went over to Rite-Aid. Got that 1/24 scale Welly Fiat 500 I've been looking at for a while. Can you use rubber tires as mold masters? I'd like to cast these tires for dragsters, hot rods, and whatnot. They've got a really nice texture to em.
  4. I remember one time when the cat got on the model table in my old room while we were away on a ride. Came back to the jar of thinner tipped over and broken... engine blocks, headlight lenses, tires, and wheels: all fused to the tabletop.
  5. The grille on D looks too wide. Camera angle, maybe? On E, the presentation is bad. Looks really rickety for some reason. F, the pipes kinda ruin it for me. Why four separate ones when you could collect them into a big 3.5 or 4 inch pipe?
  6. After some consideration, yes, I'm in. Probably going to do a Diamond Reo or a California Hauler.
  7. I just found a big four-by-four beam chunk and drilled a bunch of holes in it. Still, not everyone has those lying around.
  8. I wish that Newhart Oldsmobile was real... not a bad show, and I like the car.
  9. Aww, man... I expected a rusty Silvia. Still, this is good! Great color.
  10. Rest up. As for modeling, you inspired me to move stuff out of my closet in anticipation for a mini-model-room downstairs in my room.
  11. Three years old. I was playing GT2 at two years old, sitting on the living room (now the library) floor, using the Mad Catz wheel and pedals... Tahiti Road was my favorite course on that game, and still is. I ran my first endurance race in GT3 when I was six, I think it was the Miata one. I didn't even remember the Gillet was in GT4. Been a few years since I've played it. Both of my copies went south a week apart from each other. After 10 years of playing it, I still have a real hard time beating that Sauber Mercedes C9 in the World Championship.
  12. Oh, BTW: I know a lot of people like the Boyd's Chezoom Teal. I can get a few cans of it, I think three... anyone interested in a trade?
  13. Well, I guess next time you need a couch or something moved, you'll get a full big rig with a flatbed to move it, not one of those useless pickup trucks.
  14. That Mustang isn't funny, per se... more justice. Anyone driving that fast in a residential area deserves to have their expensive car wrapped around a tree. The Corvette is funny.... mainly because I'm not a Vette guy, but also because that guy done messed up good.
  15. Thank you, Gran Turismo 3.
  16. When Marconi invented the radio, he found 10 stations already made, and they were all DJ'd by Chuck Norris.
  17. "S," because it's cool. Well, they're all cool, but it's the coolest.
  18. Lee, where'd you get that old computer in the cop car? I gots to get it.
  19. So I did get the Moebius Hudson the other day. Came home and it was waiting for me in the living room. Wasn't even there for four seconds before I ripped it open to gaggle at the contents. Man, it's a different world of quality than the Revellogram kits I'm used to. Today rolled around. After a great day at school, we went to the bank. Pulled out some cash ($100 for an Xbox 360 I'm getting from a friend, and $40 for me) and went to the LHS. I got the Revell Snap-Tite '34 Ford, some K&S aluminum tubing for exhaust tips, and some Colors by Boyd Pacific Blue for the aforementioned Hudson.
  20. Possibly O-rings. Maybe someone else could give some more difinitve tips.
