  1. Not to mention the pleased thread was started later than the irked one.
  2. Do the Mr. Bean thing and take the steering wheel with you when you go somewhere.
  3. I need a lathe in our garage just for this kind of stuff.
  4. Since you've gone as far as to revamp the site, why not tighten up the search feature? I can't find any results for words under 4 letters, like "hot rod" or "rig."
  5. The music in Fallout 3 makes the game so much better.
  6. That's more heinous than the flag thing in my book.
  7. Better to ask a question and feel you're a fool for a minute than to never ask and feel you're a fool forever
  8. I started modeling with cars. Then, after a couple years, I gave it up. A couple more afterwards, Dad started collecting train stuff again, something from his childhood, so I naturally was dragged in, as well.
  9. Wow, he built something in 1/24 scale? Interesting.
  10. These boxes strangely show cars. However, what is inside is in fact garbage. Curious.
  11. Been a little over a week since I've been here. I haven't made any progress except for painting the floorpan black. I won't have any pictures this summer unless I get a cheap iPad.
  12. Well, there's one make of vehicle that always placed the headlights on the fenders like that which set it apart from most other cars on the road at that time. However, I can't find anything yet.
  13. Anyone who uses an organ professionally would most likely use a Leslie. Comparison between an un-Leslie and a Leslie-effected organ is no contest. Much more warbly, groovier, and warmer.
  14. Well, it's a backup if he doesn't find anything else interesting.
  15. The AMT/Ertl '90s Ford trucks have 5.0 EFI engines.
  16. Anything technical to these operations? My plan is to make it a single cab with no sleeper and change it to one rear axle with a short frame.
  17. Got a couple boat kits: the Revell Jacques Cousteau Calypso from '76, and the USS Olympia from '74. Both are complete in the boxes with nothing missing at all. Anyone interested in these? I'd like to trade for cars, but if nobody's interested, I may keep them.
  18. I used to play a little. I can't really do anything technical, and it doesn't really interest me that much anymore. We've got a bunch of guitars in the family, but the $40 Squier (yes, I knew it was garbage when I bought it) I had was the only one I owned. I traded it to my father for a built Ertl IH Transtar and a couple trailers. Now I just play the organ. I've got a Lowrey 88 with the double manuals, full pedals, and a built-in Leslie speaker. Maybe when I get another organ, I'll tear the Leslie out of it and make a cabinet for it to stand alone.
  19. I'd like a digital copy, as well as a print copy. Digital is good for on the workbench, especially with an iPad. Pull up the magazine to the page you want and set it on the corner as you work.
  20. Looks to be the same color plastic as the Gowland and Gowland (later Highway Miniatures) 1/32 kits.
  21. I plan on buying a PS3 sometime soon, if they allow cross-generation online play.
  22. Xbox 360. It's what I could afford at the time: $100, with a bunch of games and controllers, a 60gb HD as well.
  23. 10-15, I think, some in parts and scattered throughout the house.
