  1. Interesting. What material are you using for the body and spring mods? It looks like card stock?

  11. Thanks guys! Here is today's progress . A little coffee, BMF and some patients is all it took. Oh yeah and some more coffee!

  20. I polish first, then apply BMF. If compound is used it should be removed first so the BMF sticks better. As a side note: How many polish BMF before applying it to the model?
  21. We are locked in the misted of a perfect example of that Polar Vortex!
  22. Thanks Tom and Tim, for sharing the history and model. Unfortunately it will be lost in this section. Many members will never see it because only truck guys visit this area. But again, if all Finished automotive models were under one heading, it would be easily promoted!
  23. Tried a little cold weathrertwo tone last night. I haven'd decided on the second color yet, this is still primer.
  24. Great looking long roof Carl. The foil is as good as it gets and you continue to put out those shiny smooth paint jobs, NICE MODEL!
  25. I don't have a spot set up right now for my spay booth so I'm forced to paint on the back porch, (un-heated of course) . But I have been warming the paint, spraying then stepping quickly back inside. I have a cabinet I can put the parts in while the dry. Last night I started two toning pieces with good results. So we will see. Thanks guys...
