  1. It was a pretty good show, lots of people, plains, armor and yes plenty of cars. Saw some old friends and made new as well. Here's some pix, taken by my son, he's 11!... Blizcon 2011 The red Monti is my favorite. Very well done piece.
  2. Spare Parts! What a great project. From the stance to all of the body mods, the interior and the slight chassis changes. I like it. Re-scribing the panels and the tail lights caught my eye first, along with the color.
  3. OUTSTANDING IN EVERY WAY!

    "MonkeyShine"

Well steel away, no better flattery than to have an idea stolen. Thanks, and yes it was on the bay. Didn't get what I hoped, but ya never do.
  5. From the Revell Five Window, with parts from their 37 Ford PU and Parts Box. I used Gray primer, Silver, Red primer and Tamiya Dark Yellow for color. Then some real rust and dry brushing. Lots of fun, Will do another Ratty.
  6. Very nicely done, great work on the models. The Chemtrails in the sky of the first picture add a lot of realism.

    32-3 Window

Here is a link to the WIP pix. And the front wheels & tires are from an AMT 34, the rear wheels are from a Grant King Sprint Car. I think the slicks are from the AMT Double Dragster. Thanks Again, J2. My link

Thank you for the kind words, guys. J2
  9. Might not be plastic, but it is a scale model. And a very nice one indeed.

    32-3 Window

This is the Revell 32 Three Window. Chopped, Dropped, Z'd and Perched. Blown Pontiac 389. 34 Front Wheels, 37 PU Grill and Head Lamps. Custom Interior and Testors Lacquer and Alclad. Thanks for looking!
  11. Very nice!
  12. I had a small set back, but with some brass and wire I hope it will be OK! Just about got it back ready for primer.
  13. I don't normally post WIP here, bit thought I'd share this build with you. Revell three window, chopped roof 5 scale inch, opened and replaced trunk lid with the louvered one from the five window Revell kit. Opened and hinged the doors, Z'd rear frame and made a perch for the front axle. Front wheels are from a 34 stock Ford, rears from my parts box. I believe the rims are from the Grant King Sprint car. I plan in using a Pontiac 389 for the engine. Thanks for looking.
  14. NICE! I really like the red Deuce.

NIce! Where did you find the wheels?
  16. Mother and I tried several times to call YOU for the loser undies but you did not answer. Must be busy gaming, texting, or face booking with your boy friends! And no the picture was not in any of my own threads, and I did say WE. The mature answers are very interesting, thanks for your thoughts.
  17. JP, that was funny! Interesting the many different thoughts. I believe if you post a pick of a WIP and some one adds a picture of their build it helps. If you post a finished build and some one does the same thing in your thread, it is detracting.
  18. Why is it we feel the need to post a picture of our build in the same subject build of another? I am most likely guilty of this myself, but I just realized how RUDE this practice is. It total takes away from the original person/build being shared. Why not start your own thread instead of stepping on some one else! IMO
  19. Nice clean build, I like it!

    66 Impalla SS

Thank you kindly. It's a great kit to start with and could be a great mild custom as well.

Thank you guys, and yes the washer bottle is clear from the kit. I just painted the inside transparent blue.
  24. Thought I'd share this Box Stock build here....
