Heather, you have my deepest condolences. I hope you and your family find peace during this difficult time. Being a styrene addict much like your father I enjoyed his models very much. He has a very distinct style, clean and detailed with attention to detail. Adding touches that set his builds apart from others. I never had the pleasure of meeting him, but I'd bet my paycheck he had these same qualities in every aspect of his life. Just the fact that you joined this group to learn more about your dad says a lot about yourself and the effect your dad had on your life. I don't know the details of what seems like an untimely departure, but I am confident he loved you and is very proud of you. May he rest in peace. God's Speed Plowboy...

Impressively clean build from a difficult kit. It's hard to find a mold seam anywhere. Nicely detailed and pretty cool colors, well done.

I'm liking all the subtle details like the washer bottle, wiring and the interior. Very nice...

My attempt at a non-restored original owner Road Runner, nothing to shiny or fancy. I struggled some with the interior tub/chassis fitment but managed to get it together with some minor adjusting. I used MCW Sunfire yellow and clear. This product is a hot lacquer and caused seen plastic bleeding with the body. But that was my own doing for applying the paint to fast. And yes, the front edge of the black hood paint is angled correctly...

James, incredible job with the detailing on this Chevy. From the rust to the worn paint, to the stitching on the seats and all the other subtle touches. The thing I noticed first was how you lapped the window trim so as to look like the 1:1 pieces. You should be proud to display this one, Great Job.

Thank you for the comments, everyone. The top is the kit piece, I chopped it about 3 scale inches and then rounded it as much as I could. I painted it and the interior Tamiya Racing White and then covered it in Flat Clear and some blackwash to give it a little life. The body and chassis was painted Tamiya Pearl Green TS60 w/ a 40% clear coat by Model Car World Finishes, it's made for the military modeler but I like how it gives a satin look. Except for a few gentle mods and a kit bash engine, the rest is stock, Thanks again...
