It's a good looking Rod. Nice stance, cleanly built and perfect color. To bad about the paint finish. Personally I have had great success with Tamyia spray paint and trouble with enamels. The paint topic is an ongoing discussion at our club meetings. I'd love to have a good tutorial to share with the guys.
  3. No, pretty sure it's plastic!
  4. I have enjoyed watching this process, well done...
  5. Now that is a great rendition of Bubble Bee, nicely done.
  6. Making a pattern and replacement might be the best way.
  7. Why can't we just enjoy the car for what it is? Why is it we have to analyze it, break it down to every nut and bolt. Dig up all the rumors and scrutinize, magnify and point out every aspect of the car. It did this, didn't do that, couldn't drive it, can't see under it, doesn't really matter. It was a show car before there were show cars, dude built it in a garage at home and I might add made history! Enough said...
  8. Always enjoy saving a old classic. Why Pledge?
  9. That should do…
  10. If we have to explain you wouldn't understand. Which does answer your uncertainty about the hot rod...

  12. Nice looking 56...
  13. One of the RMCC guys got me building Pro Street so I started this one recently... 66 Chevy chassis lengthened to proper wheelbase. AMT Chevy interior tub and parts box seats (58 Chevy) Made up a cage and radi supports, front stiffeners and new spindles. Piecing together the chevy engine and a stance view with Texas3D Daisey Wheels.
  14. Sooooooo, were the red side panels needed due to the angle of the roof chop?
  15. Looks wonderful! How was the MCW Enamel paint?
  16. Thank you all for the kind words.
  17. Not sure if I shared this one. Revell, back halfed, American Satco tires, Tamiya Racing White and black chrome wheels.
  18. Wonderful subject and execution, thanks for sharing.
