Thank you for the comments. The body is Tamiya TS59 Pearl Light Red with a bit of MCW white frosting for a slight fade from the rocker. Nothing too radical on the paint. The interior will be a mix of pink and white, I think.

AMT 60 Chev pickup “farm truck”
James2 replied to STU111's topic in Model Trucks: Pickups, Vans, SUVs, Light Commercial
When I read the title, I expected to see a tubbed-out pickup with a camper shell and a big block, I was pleasantly surprised by your real subject. The clean build, perfect colors and finish are spot on. The lettering and weathering are done just enough to appear realistic. It's a fine model, thanks for sharing. -
LARGE CHUNK OF TECHNOLOGY CRASHES WORLDWIDE; OOPSIE DOOPSIE

My wife and I are paid through Paycor, turns out our local bank was affected. No deposits made on Friday (payday) and to further enhance the experience the bank is on a scheduled blackout while they update their system. No branches open, no drive thru, no ATM and limited or no debit card usage. Just a gentle reminder why we need cash in hand. Let the conspiracies begin... -
Thanks again for the interest and comments everyone, this was a fun build and went fairly well with minimal setbacks.

Hi Dennis, where did you get the wire big and little wheels in the last pic?

Thursday I was Deposed for an accident on a jobsite. The deposition took about 8 hr. and with the drive time, lawyer time and a few short breaks it was a 12hr day. I'm thankful that is over! I'm also thankful to have shut the cell phone off yesterday as I went on an all-day 230-mile loop on the Roadking. I stayed on as many backroads as possible, even a couple gravel roads. It was a beautiful day to get "Right", again!

Very clean build, nicely done.

Only you could've turned a wooden brick into a fine-looking hot rod, creative and well-crafted as always.

I broke my thumb years ago, (motorcycle mishap) was not treated. Acts up now and again like a dull ache, sometimes cramps up. CBD cream and or oil has been my friend...

Looks like a great project and the start of a fun build. After all that's what the hobby is all about! Enjoy...

Thanks for the comments, all. The wheels and engine are from Texas 3D, all very nicely made. I did notice a couple things after posting these pix, one was the wiper slid before the adhesive dried (Clear Acrylic) and the gas cap was facing the wrong way. Thankfully both were easy enough to correct.

Very Nice-looking Duster...

67 Plymouth GTX, Splash Paints Plum Crazy and 2x clear, interior, engine and chassis parts airbrushed Tamiya. Alclad chrome and white aluminum on the shiny bits. Scratch made front chassis and exhaust. Overall, pleased with the outcome. My lighting does no justice, thanks for looking…

1992 Ford F-150 XL Work Truck

Those setbacks happen to us all, you'll overcome it and still have a beautiful model. Slowing down and or taking a break is a good idea and when the time is right, you'll get it right! -
Well worth the wait, just lovely...

And yet here we are discussing endX in a thread about a model car forums instead of supporting the industry. My point is how easily distracted we are…But I’m sure you haters will find something else to complain about.
