  6. I am pleased to have survived a few of the worst days and have been a part of some of the best of days. I am grateful for what I have been given and glad to have not received what I deserve...
  7. No one could decide where this one belonged, so I never posted it in under glass. Or at least I couldn't find it!
  8. You could post it on Facebook, just saying....
  9. I think we should ban all vehicles that can't be classified as a specific type.
  10. It has the advantage of being rattle canned for those who don't use aa airbrush and still seems to have the same finish as Aclad,, maybe better.
  11. A fine looking "Shelf Model" I must say. Clean and stylish with all the right stuff. Did you mold the top on or is it made that way?
  12. Classic, classy and clean well done.
  13. This is one of those 40% off H.L. purchases which I am happy about the price any way. My kit had some issues with twisted parts and excessive flash. There were also fit issues with the exhaust and interior tub. Not to mention the firewall location. I did adjust the ride height to except the 17" Torq Thrust D wheels from Jays resin wheels on Ebay. I used Tamiya white with Minwax urethane clear and basic hardware semi black for the carriage. The hood decals were a nightmare and ended up tearing before the Micro set did its job (Operator error). The engine is box stock and brush painted acrylic, nothing to see there. All in all, not a bad shelf model and I finished it on New Year's Day, a nice way to start 2023.
  14. Al Auth has passed on. Many will remember him for his enthusiastic nature of hotrods both 1:1 and scale models. Proficient modeler and co-founder of the Ravenna Model Car Club he mastered many items for area resin casters. Some will remember if from his newspaper delivery bag, he shouldered at every swap and show he attended. If you ever had the opportunity to talk cars with Al you quickly learned just how much he loved them, from his Street Rod Chevy to his model bench, he had a wide range of automobile parts, magazines, kits, resin pieces tools and knowledge. He was an Army Vet, Father and Husband. I will remember him as my friend. RIP and breathe easy, Al...
