  1. We got our dog from a guy who said it was a one of a kind breed, meant to bring happiness to the family. He doesn't bark, fetch or do tricks, just lays around, eats and scratches the furniture. I torment him with a red laser for fun sometimes.
  2. All though I was expecting a van under a river bridge with a campfire going, it's still a nice piece...
  3. Sound advice, great place to keep your fav mags. But what about your phone? Nobody looks at books anymore!
  4. I remember SA doing this quite often, poor editing! I would always check the other entries to find the mistakes, sometimes they would just be all over the place. One reason I quit buying that rag a long time ago!
  5. So what about the guy who’s name is credited to your model? Who’s name is on his? And how many other mistakes were made?
  6. That is a nice magazine, a little $$ but nice. I had the privilege of gracing his pages once. Congratulations, that's a nice piece you have. It inspired me to build a similar car.
  7. I have a warning point from 2012, not sorry. Just keep posting, Jürgen.
  8. It wasn't the easiest fix, doing after paint. But at least the doors close now!
  9. Thank you for the encouraging words glad you all like it. It was a fun project to build. I decided to adjust the door panels so they would close properly. I just thinned them out and reattached them to the inner door. I’ll do the touchup and post later. This is the kit I used, $20 at a swap meet in Sharron Pa.
  10. First 40 Ford Pick Up I've ever built. If I ever do one again the doors and the tailgate will be glued shut! It seems the dash and the seat prevent the doors from closing completely and the hood hinge was impossible for me. Blame the color on Chuck and his Creamsicle 32, The wheels are from my stash and the rest is just different color detail paint and a little BMF.
  11. Welcome to the styrene addicts meeting my name is... After you master the basics anything that will enhance and improve your modeling experience is worth doing. the best advice you could have is just have fun!
  12. Nixon, "Richard, toss me the keys"
  13. Coming along nicely...
  14. Future brushed on and then when dry I color the edge with a black Sharpie. This blocks light from revealing the thickness of said glass.
  15. Model or Diecast? Either way looks nice...
  16. ^^^^^^All of the Above^^^^^^
  17. Just lovely...
  18. All of your #11 knife blades...
  19. Very nice...
  20. Picture isn't the best but this is the same paint over grey auto motive sealer/primer.
  21. I am enjoying the show...
  22. Great looking car. I got to meet DP in the pits at Michigan yrs ago, I have a HotPass somewhere that he signed for me. Just a note: the decals on your hood, if you paint it gloss then apply the decals and spray flat clear over everything they won't silver. That's an old amour builder trip. Very nice model...
