Yes should be in Under Glass

Loosing a loved one is tuff, take comfort in knowing they sleep in peace. Their memories keep them near in heart. Blessings my friend…

Just checking my paint stash and realized I don't have the colors to redo the Candy Blue. Sooooooo in keeping with the "Use what I have" idea I will be switching things up at this point. -

No the block is from Mickey Thompson’s LSR. Valve covers are resin the rest is leftovers. Thx -
So here is the story of the model itself. I am not sure how long ago I actually started this build, but it was inspired by the Bass Customs 34 Ford. And keeping to my "Finish Them All Tour" theme and the thought of not buying anything to do so it was put together with nothing but leftovers, spare parts and anything in the boxes I already had. The chop happened because I like trying new things, same as the weathered finish with exposed welds. The grill and head lights are because I had them, hence the different color. Engine, trans, driveline and chassis also just because I had them. Kind of the same thing if you were building a 1:1 out of the parts you had laying around. Thanks for looking!

Thank you everyone, I'm pleased to have finally finished this one, AGAIN! The paint is Dupli-Color Perfect Match Stone White (PW1) and a Military Grey I had laying around. To give you an idea, this is how much damage was done to the original build.

Thank you to everyone, encouragement goes a long way. This was an over due project that sat on the shelf to long but I'm glad I got to finish it. It is Under glass!

CAN BE SEEN IN UNDER GLASS!

Originally finished in 2015, this Merc was damaged during a relocation time. It has been in the box waiting for paint for a few years after I redid the body and gathered parts. This week I have been able to accomplish everything except the touch up! That will be done this weekend... It has been pie sectioned, smoothed, modified, grilled, channeled, skirted, nosed, new headlights, shaped tail and of course chopped. Another piece of the "Finish'em All Tour" is in place. Thanks for looking

Always open to Tim’s comments. And yes I used the 40 cross member mostly because I cut the other out with the rest of the floor pan. Thx

Coming along nicely!

Some might remember this one from a number of years ago, 2015. It was damaged in one of our moving experiences and had sat on the unfinished shelf since. Well, again in keeping with my theme I decided to use what I have and finish putting this back together. Some things are still the same some will change. 2nd pic is what I did today...

Thanks to everyone for the interest and comments, it was fun to build. Which by the way is my goal. That and being able to tie my shoes and breath at the same time...

Thanks for the interest everyone. Carl, I'm keeping with the finish'em all theme and in doing so I'm not purchasing any new supplies either. So what ever I find in the paint box is what it will be. I will say it should be unexpected!

This was at least two years in the making and has just a bit of everything, still need some lens but good to call it finished. Starting with a Drag City pick up body and a 58 Chevy parts kit. I just kept adding things I felt look cool. Lots of scratch built and parts box pieces. Alclad and Tamiya spay paint.
