Minibike chopper
James2 replied to bbowser's topic in All The Rest: Motorcycles, Aviation, Military, Sci-Fi, Figures
Alclad is your friend! Nice minichopper too! -
Fitment! Cleaning things up little by little. The other fender assembly was cracked so I started another. Flush skirts are glued in place and I’m scribing in the connection point for definition. I’m somewhat surprised at pulling off this chop.

Mom's 71 Chevelle Greenbrier Wagon and Dad's 68 Chevy Panel Truck -
Yep, a friend made memorial stickers for me after Cody passed. Family and friends fly them in his honor. Thanks for noticing!

Thanks Carl, if you mean the Stanley, that's been with me for some time now, traveling from the north coast to the south coast. The thermos is scratched dented and full of sticker. I use it every work day and also on trips as we travel. I do hope your doing well, friend...

I thought about that and then the new seam would have had two widths to blend. Since the curved cuts follow the sides of the trunk lid, I waited until I was happy with the fit. And then cut the bottom of the trunk lid and narrowed the sides to fit. Also I scored the top back side of the lid and bent it some. I think I hurt my brain thinking about this chop, before ever making a cut! Thanks...

Thx, I do need to do something with the rear windows though.

I like what your doing here. The 21" front wheel looks better, but a smaller tank, like a Sportster style might make things appear better. Exile Motorcycle built by Russel Mitchell. -
WoW! That's all I got, WOW...

On the bench, 40 Ford Sedan glue bomb special, donated by Al's Junk Yard. About a 3 1/2" scale chop, flush fender skirts and a lot of body repair. Let's see where this leads...

Thought I'd start a sister thread to the Falcons. This is what I'm starting with. So let's see what you got finished or a project.

Lovely! Great color choices and subtle mods, liking the radi cap! Are the tail lights hidden?

Thanks for the updates! -
I like it and you did a good job with the front axle. The paint and over all cleanly built model is a winner for me, no matter how high the front end is. How did you tint the windows? PS, I was going to say, Let the gasser purists begin urging but I see we are there already.

looking very good...
