  1. Lets try this again...
  2. MISFIRE! As I was saying, Lots of free time these past months have allowed me to finish up several long over due projects. This one is a DTR Short Tracker with some resin pieces, weathering, rust and imagination...
  3. The Race of Gentlemen! Well done, clean and the finish is superb!
  4. Both are lovely models!
  5. I had a similar thought about that and I should run some.
  6. Funny how the smallest things can throw you off. Fixing things that are not right or even starting over is a great way to discover how not to do something. I'm sure you'll get it right Andy.
  7. ebay of course And thanks Bernard I value your input greatly.
  8. Focus and a lot of free time!
  9. It's finished and under glass
  10. This is my secrete rust product
  11. Because, just because, that is why I built this one. It is a Jalopy, because I really dislike the term Rat Rod! The plan was to use nothing but what I had, no running to the store for parts or materials. I wanted the gas cap to be the shiniest piece too. And no spray paint because I can not use the booth when it is so cold outside. Wrong vent no heat kinda thing! So with that in mind I spent all my spare time putting this together. It's a Revell 32 Sedan with a 29 Ford cowl, 29 frame (Z'd of course) a blown Tony Nancy 426, Parts Box pieces and some rust... And as always, thanks for looking and firer away!
  12. Chop Chop...
  13. Thanks guys from both Dylan and me. He does a pretty good job, now if I could just get him to take the trash out!
  14. Thanks for the comments. Part of the plan for this one is to use a brush paint and weathering techniques for the finishes. I'll be doing some real rust also (Like the 53 Gasser) Here are some more mock up pictures of the assembly...
  15. This time of year it is very difficult to do any spray painting and I spend my hobby time building. With that in mind this will be a Parts Box Jalopy/Rat Rod (I hate that term) Using the front cowl of the model A and the body of a 32 Sedan I came up with this. I have Z'd both ends of the 29 chassis, added a Nascar rear end and a suicide front axle. Power will be a 426 from the Tony Nancy double dragster kit, with a scratch made adapter for 6 single barrel carbs, wheels are left overs from the PB. I will use a fuel tank I found and the front seat from a 32 Ford kit.And anything else I can scrounge up...
  16. Some say "The nut doesn't fall far from the tree" and in this case that would be correct. My son has been building for some time now and this year marks the jump from junior class to adult classes at the shows. I think he builds a fine model...
  17. I like me some restoration...
  18. Looks good even in skirts!
  19. Outstanding model. Please explain about the resin body and fit. Details details please!
  20. It's all good, Metald. People are passionate about all kinds of things and most like to show how smart they are about those things. Me, I'm passionate about GOD, Family and Country. Modeling is just a hobby!
  21. Great inspiration and execution so far. But that's not a gasser!
  22. Thx Prog, I too hate being bipolar, it's awsome!
  23. Thanks guys. When I get a moment I'll post the product I used for the rust.
  24. I do if you need it!
