  1. In an attempt to to keep the PEACE here are a few PIECES! And I will say this, it is easy to get caught up in a misunderstanding on the internet. That's why they call it the web... I will carry on, and more most likely...
  2. So cool, did you ever mention how you make the gold leaf?
  3. Guys don't really use emogies!
  4. You are absolutely correct I will correct the title, thank you. Guess I'll take my ball and leave now.
  5. If your gonna apologize, do so for making irrelevant comments regarding Gasser Class rules and regulations in a non drag racing topic. There is no need the be rude, you seem to be knowledgeable and a Corvette fan. Perhaps you could start a Gasser topic in the General area?
  6. Well Richard "Call Me Snake" Mesner, if you look closely at the second picture you can see the rear end. As far as a chassis goes it is the Revell 67, modified slightly to except a straight axle. Front and Rear!
  7. I tried a couple different combos for tires and wheels, what I found for me was, with such a long and big car it needed some larger rubber. Thanks for the interest...
  8. So keeping with the Show,Street, Freakie theme here are some parts , dechromed and ready to go. These will receive some form of Alcald But for now I shortened the 62 traction bars then I mocked up and attached them and the wheelie bars to the rear axle. Body work will continue.
  9. Thanks Tom I'll be there!
  10. Yes he did, we talked about that when he was at the Hot Rod Show. Thanks for the interest too...
  11. Thanks man, that is my intent. As much as I enjoy this forum it is frustrating when things are misunderstood. It amazes me how things get twisted sometimes. But we shall carry on...
  12. I hear what your saying, but! The car I posted is no gasser, it is a show car to promote a body manufactured by Mongoose Motor Sports The car Dave posted is a gasser named Mongoose but I'm not building that one either. If you feel so strongly about the "Gasser" subject perhaps a new Thread would be appropriate. That way everyone could add comments on the subject. I enjoy your builds as well, thanks.
  13. Thank you for the kind words everyone.
  14. Before we go much further, I would like to clarify that the first pic is the inspiration. NOT the interpretation. It is not a relplica race car, it is not a racecar at all. It is a 67 Vette, custom, street, show kinda car thing that may or may not look like a gasser though. I like the stance, I like the body mods, I like the wheels and tires and the engine. That's why I used them! Thanks for the interest...
  15. Inspired by Mongoose's Gasser Vette, this will be something I've wanted to do for some time... Using a Revell 67 Corvette and Glasser Gasser kit. I have a pretty good idea of what I want!
  16. My new fav...
  17. Thank you. The interior is nothing special, just 1shot Postal Blue and White. I brushed the whole thing. Including the stripe by dabbing a dry brush on it. The bumpers were smoothed and I removed the rear bumperetts. They were painted with Alclad Chrome.
  18. Finished and under glass....
  19. Should be a good'n Andy. I am hoping to be there also, unless I'm in Daytona for bike week!
  20. Yes, life does throw unexpected things are way. Life does not come with a manual or any other form of instructions. Life is good and at times seems bad, but the fact is you still have yours. We should all endeavor to make the best of it. Best regards...
  21. I'm not a PT fan but I absolutely love this kind of modeling. Fantastic imagineering!
