  1. Sooooooooooooooo Cleeaann!
  2. Thanks Rob, and I just couldn't resist a little mock up.
  3. Very nicely done....
  4. A little more plastic shaping last night...
  5. I always do exactly what the plastic tell me to do! Del your spot on with the turn signals, and here is a small update. The devil is in the details, no matter how subtle! I made some curved fillers to cover the space between the rear tire and fenders and than added a piece at the floor board and fire wall to help take away the squareness. More to come....
  6. Thanks very much for the interest, here is a little more....
  7. Just an amazing thread for this build. I have enjoyed following along From time to time. Really nice model! I too find the dimpled BMF frustrating and have not found a cure for it yet. I have thought about ironing but I'm not sure of the effect on the adhesive.
  8. Looks amazing, fit finish and stance spot on. Glad you went with the Shaker !
  9. Nice looking Ford there. The finish is better than factory!
  10. Thanks guys it's cool to build a great kit like this without getting all caught up in detailing! Not that i'll not be detailing another one but you know what I mean.
  11. Thanks guys I always enjoy your feedback. Here is a little teaser pic with some of the parts I found. Keep in mind there will be much cutting and some other changes along the way. I have some what of a picture in my head but I really like to let the car build it self, if you know what I mean. Tom thanks for the tip, but I do plan on using the Beatnik interior and much like the real show cars the bubble would have to be up in order to drive any way.
  12. Amazing model, well executed and wonderfully detail. Pretty standard built for you!
  13. Thanks, I've got a bunch of pieces parts here to try a few things. I'm thinking a customized track nose and some kind of fenders.
  14. Very nicely done. Clean and crisp and with the right backdrop would be a believable 1-1.
  15. Thanks guys, and I plan to do some more creative mods to the body, Show Car stuff but believable!
  16. And now for something totally different...
  17. Part of the BOX STOCK plan was to use a color combo that is uncommon! Thanks Guys
  18. Yes they are, I dirtied them up a little with a Tamyia Weathering Kit and then coated them with flat clear. And thanks for the comments everyone. It really is a great kit to build, stock or custom.
  19. My Revell Model A, box stock build. Dechromed and loaded with Sublime Green, Military Green and AFF Middlestone Tan. I did take liberty to message a few parts but it is BS and the instructions were followed exactly right down to the missing fuel block.
  20. My son and I spent 9 days in Daytona for the 75th Bike week, this is an example of the weather we had the whole time! It was an honor to spend time with Him!
  21. Great looking models, thanks Tom!
  22. DK, that would be the plan...

    Looks great, nice blue TOO!
  24. Well after 10 days of fun in the sun at Bike Week, I decided to repaint this when I got back to the bench. I was not real happy with it before, seemed rushed and I really hated the purple! So I mixed up a new batch of blue and here you go... Also thanks for the comments and encouragement.
