  2. Is that the new SH Mustang? SH for Short Hood.
  3. X2 First time I see one. Never knew they kitted the 66-67.
  4. I'll check with the store here . it would be another 25-30 for shipping from the US.
  5. While the paint dries on various things I cleaned up the 318 that was in it and it will end up in the engine collection.
  6. How much is it going to sell for?
  7. This ad would tend to confirm the engine bit.
  8. Actually, I had heard that too. So when it is written White mustang on the side of the hood it refers to the engine?
  9. I will check that out.
  10. That took guts. The bike in the photo looks more modern than 1928. could it be a Chief?
  11. That looks to me like a White mustang. In any case, I'd love it if someone produced it.
  12. Lookin' good. I like the tonneau covers. I bet that car would boogie.
  13. The new and "improved?" chassis. The axles stubs were broken so I used the axle from the Ilmor Chevy Indy engine i built recently and cut it at the flanges. perfect fit. There is only one tailight lens. I'll make one from these truck lenses. Fitting the six.
  14. What do you enter in the eBay search for glue bombs? Glue bombs gave me no results. Built model kits were half a million dollars.
  15. X2
  16. Purple Power, a degreaser.
  17. Actually yesterday but finished installing it today. A new motor for my mini lathe. The old one had started smoking . It was something like 40 years old and had powered my bench grinder for years. I had hooked it up to the lathe as it had the exact specs required. If this one lasts as long, it should be my last.
  18. In the spirit of the 2018 challenge I decided to salvage an old racer and set it up with an inline 8.....from a 1930 Packard. We'll see what comes out. First step is to de-race the racer.
  19. Added some embossing powder to the floor to change the appearance of the "carpet" texture. see floor in previous post.
  20. Here are mine. One cabinet, bought for $30 at a flea market. Added glass shelves which cost more than the cabinet. One overall photo and some closeups. I also have a small cabinet in my wife's sewing/craft room which houses the redos and my engine collection.
  21. Barry, what is in that big engined hot rod?
  22. Beautiful story with a nice ending. Or are we at chapter 2? I just ordered one from RMR, a model, that is. I'm sure you will enjoy this a lot. Are you planning to just maintain and use sparingly or to restore it? They are priginal only once.
