Chevrolet 427 with a Nelson Racing Engines twin-turbo setup. The setup is a 3D printed item by Ron Olsen at Shapeways. OHV V8, turbocharged and intercooled , 427 cu.in./ 1070 hp on pump gas.

In the photo above with the pup tent we were at Cayuga Raceway(Today Toronto Motorsports Park) for a weekend of drag racing in 1974. We saw all the big names of the day, like Connie Calitta, Grumpy, Garlits, Shirley Muldowney, Gary Beck and many more. Seems like 100 years ago.

I have one as well and I'd like to use it to replicatemine which was a '73. Flinstone makes a 72 which is sort of the same The only hurdle is the decals.

One thing that needs to be done is to retrofit the engine with its transaxle which had been removed to prep it for display in the diorama.
