  3. Great looking weather job AZTom.
  4. Those cars have great curves, the roof line is my favorite part and glad you didnt chop it. Your engine looks great.
  5. Sent you a message 66Belair
  6. Here is my Jeep after 25 or so yrs in a cardboard tomb. Sorry about thread hijack
  7. I built a Jeep CJ7 25 yrs ago and won a show with it in Elk City Ok but a nephew rolling it on a table put too much pressure on it snapping all 4 wheels off.I started a rebuild a few days later but packed it away. Its been well over 20 yrs it got broke and the repair started but I still have it and I will build it back up soon.
  8. Terrible news about the stumble the car took but Im sure you can put it back together even better. I used to have to repair lots of mine after nephews come over and no one would tell them not to touch.
  9. There were raised runner intake manifolds for superchargers on some engines like Ford Bigblocks and other not so run of the mill Ford,Chevy ,Dodge engines. Its just that most use the flatter style manifolds we are used to seeing.
  10. Great details so far, going to be a very nice car.
  11. I myself am new to the site but not new to modeling and can say this build is the best I have ever seen. Its modeling porn, artestry, machinist heaven and more!! Will be watching for updates as I know its only going to get better. Wow,just wow!!
  12. Very nice clean work,I like the wiring details under hood. Nice build.
  13. The dark blue 1:1 is the bad boy,my white Belair is starting to get the look but needs the power to back it up. The dark blue one was in the US til last year, now a friend in NewZealand owns it. It was owned by Dave Lindsey and was a NHRA regular for years. The car was restored to reflect a "day two" look where slicks and skinnies were added, traction devices, and tow tabs. Its a legitamate 427 L72 car and I love it. My white Belair will recieve a bigblock hopefully over 500" and I have a Dana60 that needs brackets swapped to bolt it in soon.
  14. Wow,very nice!!!
  15. Thank for the interest. Ive got a ton to do but pleased with where the progress is at.
  16. It just keeps getting better!! Looks extremely Fast just sitting there.
  17. This one is a replica of my 1:1 Belair
  18. Will be watching this build with much anticipation as I am rounding up pieces myself for a few 1:18 diecast builds using Warlocks or Red Express trucks. My plan is a prostreet style raced,an offroad desert racer and maybe a neat hauler for one of my many Mopars on a trailer. Wished there was a fleetside bed option for us 1/18 builders.
  19. Unfortunately there arent many sources for 1/18 parts but there are a little around. Using parts and pieces from other cars is basically the way to get parts wanted but at times the parts you need are from a more expensive more detailed car and that makes it tough. There were manufacturers of wheel and tire sets for a while but quite a few companies have went under. Scouring ebay is usually where parts or parts cars are found. I do alot of scratch building and modifying so I use stryrene sheet and tubing and such. I want to resin cast some parts like Turbos, intercoolers and such but I am not to that stage of modding yet.
