  1. Draw the whole thing out in Crayon, maybe that will get their attention this time! LOL!! Just kidding of course, I know Round2 doesn't make new models anymore. David S.
  2. I second that about Ferrarijoe, he was very fast to deal with. And sadly it takes me a bit to make it to the post office here! Also Jeremy Linn (atomicholiday) is great to trade with too. I would trade with either anytime! David S.
  3. What kit should I finish?

  4. Shawn, I am in complete awe of your mad skills here!! This is the first chance I had to catch this thread, and let me tell ya, I almost peed myself with excitement. I felt like a poodle who just saw their owner again after a week. Then I ran into my hobby room and pretended like I could do something like that. But seriously, inspiration is where, and how one finds it. For me it means that maybe I just set the bar on the floor to a different height. Maybe just a bit higher because I know I will love what I get from it. And I do so love modeling!! If you read all that I rambled out, thank you! Keep up the great work, I will be on the edge of my seat for sure. David S.
  5. Wow, That is Rodtastic and Woodalicous for sure!! I have one of those, never felt any inspiration for how to build it. Til now!! David S.
  6. Cool stuff you got going there. Having a ton of unfinished builds makes you just like the rest of us!! I like the fact that you build stuff that I don't. Because I still get to see cool stuff that I wouldn't build, but like to look at some times. David S.
  7. That looks incredible indeed!! Is that a Cobra motor or some other Coyote motor? Well it's supercharged and awesome. I love it, you do some amazing work. David S.
  8. Richard, This is sooo very cool! I like the way the office area looks for sure. Kinda like it should be in the Over-Haulin' TV show or something!! And that varnish you used a month ago, I am familiar with that product. They make mustard for sale here in the states!! LOL!! I'm still watching, and it still looks great! David S.
  9. Bert, I can't wait to see some more of this! My love for '57 Chevy's of all styles has caused me to become a collector of '57 kits. Every time I see a kit of a '57 that I don't have yet I have to buy it! I have more than a dozen '57 Chevy kits of all Makers, and scales here. One of my present builds is a H/T kit in purple + black two-tone metalics. With 23's on the back, and 19's on the front. It's looking pretty good so far. David S.
  10. Fred, That is looking great! David S.
  11. Alex, Awesome job on awesome subject! The 69 Camaro is easily my favorite pony car ever. And I'm a Ford fan!! Yeah and that finish is deep, must have been some serious polishing there!?! It looks so good that even Johnny's dog sat up and took notice!! David S.
  12. Snackey, You posted this car with the opening comment that you wanted "constructive criticism" about your build and weathering job. I also mentioned that your work looked first rate! Looking at one Walgreens store and then deciding that what you were looking for was not available is never gonna make a great build. If you enjoy being inaccurate in your builds, well then keep up the good work!! David S.
  13. Shane, The day one of my turds comes out looking that nice, is the day I put my first turd in a display case!! I was just looking at the 50 Custom Olds at the Hobby Lobby store today. I was wondering if those big wide whites come with the kit? They look even wider than the stock Olds kit tires that I have!?! That motor looks great also. David S.
  14. Sorry Snacker, Also the seats would have a light brownish colored foam rubber inside. not a cotton and wool stuffing. That you would have found in a 30's, 40's, 50's and some 60's cars. But the way you did that is truly first rate in in the way it looks! I mean it, it's awesome!! David S.
  15. Byron, It looks just awesome so far!! You did a way cool job on those wheels. And that finish is great too. There is a pic in there that shows you waving in a shadow shot that looks pretty cool also! David S.
  16. I can say that Vintagedragcrazy (Vince) is awesome to trade with. And tubbs (Al) has been great to me also. Trading with people who really build these kits is the best reward there is in a trade for sure! Thanks so much guys, David S.
  17. Hey Chuck, Is your site not working quite yet? The main page opens, then nothing! I was kinda excited to see what you had to offer myself. David S.
  18. That Cuda is crazy cool!! I love RatRods, and I have always had a thing for Barracuda's. So I just love it, it is a style that jumps up and slaps you in your kisser! That no lie!! David S.
  19. Thanks Harry, Well now I'm gonna get me lots of those, and just wait til X-mas time. Coolest Christmas cards ever! David S.
  20. The U.S.Post Office has a new forever stamp with a pic of a 1970 Cuda on it. Finally they covered something I like! Gonna get some !!! David S.
  21. Thanks for all the greetings folks! I have been busy looking around since I joined, and I like what I see very much. Some folks that I'm maybe going to find trades with, others that I will admire, and just some fun. David S.
  22. Steven, That Merc looks amazing, I would be thrilled to have one of my black finishes come out that nice! Also you made a great choice of color for that car for sure, it jumps up and slaps you in the pie hole that one does!! I love it, and look forward to seeing it all done. David S.
  23. Fred, On those hubcaps do you think the ones from the MPC Monaco kit would look right? It was just a thought I had that likely you have already thought about. David S.
  24. Patrick, Hello sir, I was watching the building of your Airfix dune buggies and first off my condolences on the demise of that first buggy! (may it rest in peace) I enjoy watching the builds of these kinda kits. They are so fun and bring back good memories of times when you could buy some kits for just a buck! Or 2 pounds, whatever. Is there a chance at all that you would part with a set of the peoples that come in those Airfix kits? And I do understand the value on those, so I am willing to trade with that worth in mind! I'm just throwing this at you just in case there is any chance you would be interested. David S.
