  1. Nice colour combination. The wheels suit the truck too. It also has a good stance.
  2. Thanks Marc. This model had fender skirts, spotlights gas cans, top light on the roof, and was covered with decals and dust! I stripped it and carefully sanded the glue off. The plan is to make it into a mild custom surfers truck, with a 427 cammer under the hood.
  3. Very nice! Great colour and great stance!
  4. WOW !! Now that's over the top COOL !
  5. Another terrific build Tulio!
  6. Looks good!
  7. I rebuilt the floor in the bed as it was a glue mess.. Mocked it up with the wheels from the '50 Ford pickup...they might work.
  8. I agree. Fine looking Vette.
  9. Super nice job on your model! Hope you continue building and enjoying the hobby.
  10. I like your build style and this is yet another that appeals to me. Very cool!
  11. Got a good report on my health this morning ( no surgery required for at least 6 months ). Also got a bit of painting in on my '34 pickup, so all in all, a very good day!
  12. Very well done! Lots of great details and nice weathering! Tip of my hat!
  13. I like it! Sure reminds me of my youth when cars like this prowled the streets. Youhave a nice model there!
  14. Sweet looking model!
  15. Truly pumped that this kit is hitting the shelves! Thanks for your imput from beginning to end on this Tim! It will be a real pleasure to build a dedicated model of a very popular hot rod style, not to mention the extra bits for the parts box.
  16. That's a good looking truck! Love your colour choices and wheels! Super sharp!
  17. Just wanted to send birthday wishes to Greg Meyers. Another "old fart" at 68 years old!
  18. Now that's totally illegal Ray, but that's why you should do it! No one will get hurt either. That's a great idea!
  19. Nice looking truck! I like your choice of wheels. That's a great kit too!
  20. What a great looking model! Very clean with super nice paint. Nice to see red lines for a change. Gives it a good muscle car look.
  21. Thanks for the compliments guys. There was a ton of modifications with this one, lots of cutting, filing and sanding. I used Tamiya putty which I let thoroughly dry after each coat. I'm pleased that after 25 or so years, it has no signs of cracking . The photo submitted yesterday shows the Charlie Smith drawing from a '87 Hot Rod magazine that inspired me to attempt this build. It took about 2 years to build (weekends only), and was entered into a few shows in 1990/1991.
  22. I enjoy your builds, so I'll be watching this one!
