Your biggest blunder

I did the same thing with a Monogram T-28 in the back window of my parents' '59 Bel Air. -
How about some spooky halloween music
Snake45 replied to STYRENE-SURFER's topic in The Off-Topic Lounge
The music might not be creepy or spooky, but these songs ARE about a couple of psycho killers.... -
That right there is funny on at least three different levels I can think of right offhand. Well played! ?

I hope this qualifies. Just heard it in the soundtrack of Barbarian, a terrifying new horror film now streaming on HBO/MAX. I'd never heard it before, though apparently it's not new at all. Pretty cool and catchy tune. -
Finished it. What a remarkable, amazing movie. It should win every award in its category. The best documentary I've ever seen on any subject. And even though you know going in that it's not going to end well, they manage to give you about the "happiest" ending possible. There's some simply amazing footage near the end, too. HIGHLY recommended--Snakeworthy! ?

I'm now about halfway through. This is clearly no slapped-together production. These people were filming her and her pursuit of this goal for years (at least as far back as 2013). There's a very moving part where she tracks down once-famous stuntwoman Kitty O'Neil. At times Jessi reminds me of Lizzi Musi and Kayla Morton, but a bit deeper if that makes sense. She also sometimes bears a strong resemblance to Christina Applegate (Kelly Bundy). I strongly recommend this show to any who can see it.

Don Greer, whom I think did most if not all of the box art above, passed yesterday (or very recently). I posted about it but the thread got merged with the In Memorium thread down in the Off-Topic Lounge section. I just posted some more images of his amazing work down in that thread. RIP, Don, you did great work and made MANY people happy.

Here's a couple I found with a quick google search:

Just read on Hyperscale that Don Greer, prolific creator of some much-loved AMT box art of the '60s and '70s (and, I believe, some of the recent Round 2 reissues, too) has passed. He first came to my attention (by name) in the '70s with his covers and other fine color art for Squadron/Signal's In Action line of aircraft books. It was only relatively recently that I was delighted to discover that he'd also done AMT box art. But once you get used to his style, it's pretty easy to spot. RIP Don, and thanks for all the great art in both worlds. Your work will live forever in our hearts.

My New Favorite Thing of the Day! Jump ahead to about 4:40 and watch her wail on the drums! For a minute there I thought they were gonna break into Montrose's "Rock Candy." Glorious!

A Pontiac that beat Ferrari?

I think that's going to be on my tombstone. -
I know what you wanted to say. Congratulations on finding a non-controversial way to say it.

Can't speak from personal experience, but you just KNOW that SOMEbody, SOMEwhere, has tried it.

Well, what isn't?

That's some kickass resto work you got goin' on there, Daryl! Drive on! -
I'd prefer Ted Nugent's "Great White Buffalo" but I like your idea.

Until this very minute, I thought this band's name was talking about four people, not three!
