  1. One of my alltime favorites, Randy Newman's 2013 R&RHOF induction performance with friends Tom Petty, Jackson Browne, and John Fogerty. But wait, there's more! In the backing band you can also spot Waddy Wachtel, Paul Shaffer, and the rest of the World's Most Dangerous Band.
  2. Feel free! I can think of several I'd like to add.
  3. Isn't this thread about favorite live albums?
  4. It had a SBC in it when he started. IMHO he'd have been time, money, and effort ahead to just stay with that; he went to a LOT of $$$ and work to change it over but he wanted to keep it "all Ford." And you're right, we didn't see anything about the supercharger in the build episode; that was a surprise addition on this episode.
  5. Axman's '34 really surprised me with how well it could scoot. I thought Ryan's '70 would be a lot faster than it is--how rare is it to see him worried about not having enough car? Really impressed with how well JJ's '67 Nova is running. He could end up winning the whole thing.
  6. Reminded me of Donald Sutherland in Kelly's Heroes: "We're drinking some wine, eating some cheese, catching some rays...."
  7. Great color and finish! What's the paint? Well done and model on!
  8. There's something you don't see every day, and it's quite well built, too! Well done and model on!

    63 Corvette

Very clean build, and that "sit" is about as good as it gets. Well done and model on!
  10. One of the funniest lines in the whole movie. "You've hit everything else out there, and I want you to be perfect!"
  11. Sounds like a scene in a Ben Stiller movie. Maybe you can sell it to Hollywood.
  12. Magnificent! Thanks for reminding me that I have one of these (my original from 1968) that I need to restore. VERY well done and model on!
  13. Very, VERY nice! I have a '74 promo (MPC) molded in orange that I need to finish restoring. Thanks for the inspiration and model on!
  14. I hate to admit it, but it kinda is. Loved the scene where Duval is talking Cruise through the wall of smoke and dust. I swear I was expecting him to say, "Use the force, Luke!"
  15. Pretty sure I saw it on HBO/MAX two weeks ago. If not there, I would have seen it on Netflix, and I don't remember running it at 1.5X speed. (Netflix has completely spoiled me for that feature.)
  16. You are doing amazing work here. I've restored five or six of these AMT '66 Mustang fastbacks now, so I can REALLY appreciate what you're doing and how well you're doing it. Back in the late '80s I built the common AMT '66 coupe and wanted it in Emberglo. I used Model Master Kiln Red Metallic airbrushed over a primer of light tan. Not perfect but I think it looks "passably" good. Couple years ago I picked up an M2 diecast 1/24 '66 2+2 that was painted Emberglo. It looks pretty good, too. Drive on, and keep us posted on your progress.
  17. I have diecasts that scale out to 1/26 and 1/27. If they're shaped right (and if they weren't I wouldn't have bought them), I let them sit proudly on my 1/25 scale. They "fit in" better than the 1/24s, to my eye.
  18. I think I have that book. If I do, I bought it really cheap at Ollie's a few years ago.
  19. Found the Snoop Dogg scene on U2be. Let's see if I can make it play here:
  20. I did. You must be thinking of pre-resto pics. The flame decals didn't survive the rework. Before: After:
  21. I did the same thing with a '66 Mustang GT. Couple years ago I found one on eBay that looked so much like it I HAD to buy it. It didn't require a whole lot of restoration, just a good cleanup and some freshening up.
  22. Interesting! I've never used any of the Color Place glossies. Those DID turn out nice! Model on!
  23. Very sad news. Thanks for posting it.
  24. Looking good, Geno! Drive on!
