  1. I'm sure there are hundreds of custom truck bodies that 1960's Ford pick ups could be had with. That ice cream truck doesn't look too difficult to custom build.
  2. Since this thread began, Moebius has offered two sets of Super Single tires for their International Prostar and Lonestar trucks and their Great Dane van trailers: Moebius is doing another run of all of their truck and trailer kits. Moebius has announced that they plan to offer a a new trailer kit at DAAM show according to this thread. I've heard it will available late 2019 or early 2020.
  3. I say because of that error, scrap the whole project!
  4. Seems the process from concept to full product was a much more laborious process than it is now. A lot of hand work and error correcting. There is more reluctance to do make original subjects today than 50 years ago.
  5. Moebius has been working on the Flatbed trailer for sometime. It is real.
  6. Up to your high standards as usual.
  7. I concur. Authenticity is paramount.
  8. Wow! Incredible work! You would think with all of your ultra detailing, you would drill out the holes on the grille on the front facia. I know CTM offer a photo etch grille for the MP4. You should cut open and hindge the doors to display all of that wonderful detailing. Keep going!
  9. And truckers prefer conventional to cabovers.
  10. A Volvo "High Roof" day cab is referred to as the Eurotrotter cab. A day cab with sleeper above the cab. A Volvo "High Roof" full sleeper cab is referred to as the Globetrotter cab. I don't know what MAN trucks calls them. In Europe and many other countries, total rig lengths are strictly regulated. Having the shortest prime mover length leaves more space for trailer length payload. Also the maneuverability of the set back front axle configuration is the de facto set up in most other regions outside of North America.
  11. Spot on Atki mate. Australian lorries were more similar to what the Yanks road on their Motorways. Similar working conditions.
  12. I have read from European truck modelers that it looks like it is designed to be built with several modifications.
  13. Great subject, state of the art detail. They are way over due for a new American truck kit.
